I know this is old but it helped me with replacing the driveshafts on my slash, although I found that going through the bottom of the truck for the right shaft allows you to leave the gear box cover on.

I was driving my car today and it’s engineering started smoking, but after letting it cool off a bit, it still works. Should I get a new motor or try to still use this one.

It is not a fiber optic wire. It is just a regular wire, cut to a very specific length that should be stretched out as much as possible, never cut and it is called an antenna wire for the receiver.

mine has been wearing on the left shaft, on the hinge close to motor /gearbox and a part where it moves when suspension compresser or releases. Tysm

I got a grey one I bought used off eBay in great condition the previous owner must’ve not drove it hard because there’s light scratches on the body and no broken or missing parts 100% stock I think he just drove it around backyard and indoors I plan on keeping everything stock till something fails I plan on adding lights and a winch and a few scale accessories

Next time pls consider a bigger motor with a big stack of home made lipo’s all wired in series. 👊😀just know lipo safety pls don’t connect different size and mah lipo’s together in any configuration Only those of the same size and rating 🙂
