I havent seen the other ones (and ik this one is a bit old) but one thing i would say is the text seemed to go by a bit fast. Maybe im just slow (insert joke about ygo players and reading) but i had to rewind a few times to catch what was in the text bubbles. Anyways really cool concept and synergies! That codevirus-witch play left me 😲

Yee thats particularly good in azamina variants. Unfortunately, Lee's synergy with the adventure engine is mediocre since I can't reliably use her as a normal summon. So she is a one of with occasional conditional combobuses when drawn with world chalice vanillas, or diabellstar. Since my main combo doesn't actualy need world chalice monsters except for chalice (because itsba world legacy) I can fairly comfortably trade the engine into shifter for my survival. Its also not a horrible trade as I still get access to pup dragon for protection for my next turn, and chalice incentivises the battle phase which makes it more likely you will survive the turn.

@servine1212 I don't use to NS Lee since I run SHS, I rather Summon 2 WC monsters of WL WC

Ya, thats a good point. I usually go into "survival mode" vs tenpai and thats all I know.

​@@servine1212 wasn't really a misplay, there's no way you could've known they had magnumhut it's kinda like using Maxx C early, maybe they'll use Gamma, but maybe they'll summon a Kash, it's just something to think about, it's not a necessarily a misplay

@Otaku_Dragon True, thats part of the fun of replays though. You get to review you moves and see what you could have done better. I usually try and review my matches where I feel like there is a chance I coulda won. What missplays did you notice in particular. Also I had to redo game 2 because I didnt save the replay intiially. Im pretty sure I just instantly scooped.

XD Ya. It was str8 pain. Me and my opponent were in VC during that set (This was from a tournament) and he joked that he would win the event by opening shifter every game, and well...

@EntertainerSY Extra deck space mainly, and redundancy. Herald offers better protection than the azamina fusion, and the world chalice engine can self insulate via herald (much like how the fiendsmith engine will use caesar to insulate vs nibiru before comitting to the more important plays).

​@@servine1212I can see that with Fiendsmith, but Azamina giving you 3 more copies of 1.5 card combo insulated by nibiru can't really be a bad thing, specially in 60

@EntertainerSY 2 extra deck slots is incredibly steep. Also most of the combos in this deck bests nibiru so only thing id gain is more starters (Which I am no particularly lressed for). The main difference is extra deck cost. For azamina (specifically anti nib lines) I need gravity controller + both fusions. If I were to incorporate thouse Id lose almost all manner of combo flexibility, and become exponentially weaker to droll in the process. I havent had a chance to showcase the combos, but something as simple as opening a tuner handtrap allows me to guarantee beat nib. Also the combo lines require deceptively few rescources. I really only need 3 bodies on field to pop off.

@EntertainerSY At this point, It's a matter of showcasing all the theory that went into the build XD. Got some triple handtrap games (Ash+imperm+impulse for spoilers) and some stuff showing what happens when I need ro rebuild (should they somehow break the field). And I gotta keep running the meta gauntlet. I think Tenpai is next, but getting an interesting tenpai replay is hard

@lekunga8042 I was gonna crash fenrir into desirae anyway. Banishing fenrir keeps me from using my generic monster reborns on it, and it also chain blocks a potential belle. Didnt change much except I woulda been down 400 LP.

@@servine1212 I see. Still think that play is not correct, but this makes it a bit less dumb on their part.

@lekunga8042 ya, I felt like they played pretty smart overall (They even played around Nib Game 2) which is why I chose this set to use. I try to use games that are exciting, competitive, and realistic (Which is why my gaps between videos are so long lol.) Oftentimes, I see youtubers showcase "rogue vs. Meta" when in actuality the meta deck opened zero handtraps and the rogue deck got to board build uninterupted going first. That just feels a bit disingenuous and unrealistic.

@@servine1212 That's why I don't do duels at all. Having to find exciting duels requires insane grind that most people just don't want to do anymore I guess.

@lekunga8042 Ya thats fair. I can only do it because im actuality enjoin the game right now, and video editing is kinda fun.

The fact that we are now hand trapping our opponent TURN 0 is insane. Also I think self drolling is a bit of a trap. I only do it if I can't put up 3 disruptions without committing to the extra. And even then I only decide to fully commit like I did in the video if I can play through droll + 1 handtraps since I rarely expect fuwalos to be alone in their hand.

Not really missing dai. Most of the decks' power is in hard drawing chalice + tribute fodder, or making IB synchro. Dai is fantastic in combination with chalice engine or adventure engine, but it doesnt really do anything with diabelle (especially if it gets impermed), so I focused the deck building around cards that can help extend from com.on handtrap scenarios. Sillouhette rabbit has to get added to the vault. It chain blocks chalices eff, can grab an extender, or potentially disruption. I dont have the space for it in this list, but in a PK build I definitely need to consider it. I can see several combo lines (in other variants) where it puts in work. I feel pretty comfortable with my mulcharmy options as of now, but I will consider adding a thrust target potentially.

Rabbit cant set Shade, as it is not a continuos trap. That cuts a lot of its utility.

Lol I knew about the riser/Dragster plays, but I scrapped them because herald is a better negate, and if I have an insulated combo (With Herald), then riser cant dump. you can also riser>dump handtrap>firewall add back. New combo lines focus on summoning herald as early as possible to protect the Witch, and the Codebreakers.

@servine1212 don't get it twisted. I would play herald regardless. If not to synchro then to get a search off by foolish via diviner. (cause I'm on sprind to foolish if not diviner then astellar). Also if you haven't tinkered with it yet. I highly recommend testing out a white forest package with red/roxrose as the normal summon. They go together like bread and butter. You could do it with adventure/runick. Or you can do a WC dragon link build, since black metal + unexpected/primordial/quick launch is full combo, with and early dragun to insulate your plays, as well as the new red eyes with the metalmorph to provide a new search target, as well as an omni to boot

@jameeljohnson19 Ya, herald is good to play regardless, but you cant use it to protect your plays if your going for a riser line since its floodgate will conflict. I used to do riser > dump droll > firewall add back with spell canceler in the side, As it stands right now I have actually updated the build a decent ammount and will show the changes in the next video. Currently, I am working on a mekk knight variant aswell. Im also considering a Dark Magician X Promordial variant (Souls=vanilla without normal summon and u cant ash it, and We can use proxy magician to fusion with it to make an early dragoon aswell). Ive also lightly considered an adventure x runic build with the rose dragons since they let you get to the adventure engine very soon to deal with nib, and Give cup protection from ash. Im just not sold on runic chalice yet because the deck kinda wastes World Chalice's recovery potential, and the engine goes entirely dead after turn 1.

@servine1212 Well herald really isn't the be all end all in terms of insulating your plays when you can red rose for either dragun, or the genex lv10 synchro, which if youre playing runick is effortless. As long as you draw 2 runick spells, you just make double hugin and climb the ib synchro into ancient fairy,(either the light or the dark one if youre not playing another field spell like secret village, or waterfront) after you already resolved fountain to draw a couple cards. Also if you're talking about the WC engine going dead after turn 1, then you'd be correct. Unfortunately the grind game WC used to have has definitely diminished with nit only the loss of alot of tools along the way, but have also been overshadowed by the recovery of other engines such as runick, white woods, etc that can rinse and repeat with more efficiency. It definitely has gotten to a point where you really don't wanna open any chalice cards but you'd rather just access them mid combo. I do play pit of avarice as well as grass in the runick, white woods adventure build, cause diabelle is just insane like that. Even if you go 1st, you can just thrust, for grass, send it with either magicians souls or a white woods, and add it back with diabelle do you can still play the grass. Grass also allows you to draw 3 a couple times pretty often. But I did have to accept that unless you're on more, imduks, vanilla, world legacy cards, and recovery cards like avarice/exodus etc. The recovery aspect of the deck is outshines by nearly every other more modern archetype. The WC engine is still useful for it's crazy explosive options. So the goal is still the same. You realistically should end the game if you succeeded in going full combo

@jameeljohnson19 I was referring to specifically heralds applications in the cyberse build. The theoretical 7 copies of grass (Thrust and Arm offering) is hilarious. Using white forest to turn thrust into a hard handtrap punish is both galaxy brain and hilarious. How much non engine are you on in the Runic/Adventure/White Forest build. (Im assuming this is a 60 carder).

@BlueSkyYGO i deliberately leave IB unlinked to bait an imperm on her since it doesn't matter for the combo. That way, I can hold pup for more important imperm targets and potentially play through double imperm.

@@Chu627 I'm thinking about cutting one of the Extra OSS's. Its a 1.5 card combo technically, but The main reason I was playing it, was because It was one of the few ways I knew of to extend if diabelle got stopped (and I didnt draw chalice).

@ryudragon7 You have to he very quick. I hold the "search" button right after I dismiss my summon. Then i quickly select their body and use "Triangle" to loot their corpse. It sounds like your system may be lagging when getting control back to your character. Try moving to a less intense are of the map and see if that helps. Worst case you can add me and I can try and do in your worldm

@@servine1212 I was attempting to pull it off in the underdark ancient forge. I could see if there is another area in Act 1 that doesn't lag as much. Can you connect to PS5?

@ryudragon7 hey sorry I missed your comment, but ya i am on Ps5 and Im glad u were able to pull it off. The azer war hammer is a fantastic early to mid game option, and honestly its effect is so strong even late gane its good. Thief rogue lets you use the "overheat" ability twice.

@mosb7398 Um as soon as you get the spells for the summons. Level 7*: Twisted Oak Crook Azer Warhammer (You can find a scroll of conjure minor elemental pretty early. I bought 1 from the halfling merchant in the druid grove.) Level 11: Djinni Scimitar (There is a better method to get this. Do not use my method for this weapon), Trident of the Depths (Use my method, not the hireling method. If u use the other method, you wont gain the special weapom actions on any of the myrmidon weapons). Scimitar of Cidner Flail of the vortex

Ya I was going through as many videos as I could find showing how to get it on PC, and letting console players know I found the method for their platform. One of them asked me to make a video so I threw 1 together for them.

Just wanted you to know you are a real one for this. Appreciate you going and spreading the word on other videos. I would post this to the wiki, but wanted to ask first. If not, totally understand. The Scimitar of Cinder is unironically the most fire weapon in the game, don't want to lose that again since they patched the attack ability you get from the sword by doing the hireling method in the newest patch.
