Romantic kisses and moments
Pretty much everyone has a video montage of movie kisses, so why not me? ;-) These are mostly romantic scenes from some of my favorite movies and miniseries...both period dramas and modern. Here they are, in order of appearance:
North & South
Pride & Prejudice (not a kiss, actually)
N & S (continued)
Sense & Sensiblity
Persuasion
Our Mutual Friend
Amelie
First Daughter
Northanger Abbey
The Painted Veil
Penelope
Atonement
Penelope
Someone Like You
The Lake House
Slumdog Millionaire
N & S
Special props go to James McAvoy for perfecting the swooping-in kiss.
Song is called 'Latika's Theme" by A.R. Rahman and can be found on the "Slumdog Millionaire" soundtrack.

This video shows the link to the actual music vid. Clips from BBCs 2004 production of 'North & South' set to 'Take On Me' by a-ha. Had a little fun with the song choice this time ;-) Check out the actual video on this page: www.vimeo.com/2921218

A-ha's song to clips from 2005 Pride & Prejudice. It's a spoof based on the scenario that Lizzy regretted refusing Mr. Collins. It can be downloaded at darcywil.livejournal.com/3649.html
North & South ending / train station scene (edited)

SPOILER ALERT! This is the final scene of BBC North & South, featuring the famous kiss, but without the Henry Lennox character. If you don't want to know the ending, don't watch! Dialogue: Thornton: Where are you going? Margaret: To London. I've been to Milton. Thornton: You'll not guess where I've been. *hands her the rose* Margaret: To Helstone? I thought those had all gone! Thornton: I found...
This is so romantic and intensely wonderful. Not even Mr Darcy matches up to this moment.
❤
سلام از 2024 !
Love the music for this scene.
modern romantic films can not evoke anything even remotely close to the reaction i get watching this scene. grinning so hard my cheeks hurt, heart swooning and kicking my feet at the tenderness displayed between these two 🤍
This is such an awesome movie. One instance where I believe the movie is better than the book!! The book was awesome, but I do believe I like the movie better. I’m a big fan of period dramas and this is my favorite. They have such excellent chemistry together!! This has to be the most romantic love scene ever and there is absolutely no sex in it!! ❤❤❤❤
☹☹🥺🥺🥺
This series made me discover fanfiction.. I couldn't get enough of Mr. Thornton and Margaret's love story that I turned the internet inside out looking for more stories about them.😂 Every year thereafter, I'd come back to watch my favourite scenes.
🦄🐥🕊 ЭТО НЕ ПЕРЕДАТЬ СЛОВАМИ РАБОТА ЧТО НАЗЫВАЕТСЯ НА ВЕКА🦄🦔🐬💐🐞🍀🍃
LOVE IT AMAZING FILM SO ROMANTIC AND BEAUTIFUL Margo ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Waw
Is that hand kiss considered a proposal???
Thanks for deleting Henri, I had to turn my face away from him in the series!! So happy to find this scene here, I'm like the others who have written, I have watched it endless times, and it never gets old. One of the most beautiful love scenes in all of cinema in my opinion. I just watched the whole film the other night, and now wanted to see one--or two--or three times, this one! Thanks again for posting!!
❤
Omg!! How he's looking at her!! I think that's the very way a man should look at the woman he loves to make her feel safe and protected!! Amazing job!! Wonderful actors! Can't stop crying like an idiot every time i watch this episode! Bravo!!
This is one of my favourite TV Movies. I have no account of how many times I have seen this ending Scene. Both Daniella & Richard have acted superb.
THIS!!! THIS SCENE LIVES ON REPLAY IN MY BRAIN🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕💕
I like the line in the book better, 50,000 pound is not as obvious as i have 50,168 pounds. Only down to the pound and penny made him realize that she loves him.
😍😍😍❤️😭😭
Probably unpopular opinon, but for me this is the most romantic scene ever in the history of fiction, along with the famous quote from Wentworth's letter from Persuasion:''You pierce my soul..I am half agony ,half hope..."'
And the proposal scene in Jane Eyre.
This scene is not in the book...
Yo creí que Armitage era como el modelo de mascúlinidad. Que desperdicio. Que dolorosa desilusión......
When he realizes what she's willing to sacrifice for him. Swoon.
Best 3:30 minutes spent! Beautiful moment!
Love this movie
If only there was a way to like this video few thousand times 😍❤️❤️❤️
It saddens me that she looks out the window at the very end of the scene. Why didn't she rest her head on his shoulder? T_T
Mr Darcy ilə Ms Elizabeth in belə bir səhnəsini gormədik
She is so sweet. And he is absolutely charming. Ahhhh!
I loved when she talked to him offering financial help.
Goh hoe hij naar haar kijkt, geweldig. Prachtige film.
I’m probably responsible for half of the views on this video. 😂 I can’t get enough of how gentle he is. This scene just warms my heart.
Lol I’m just about the other half 😅
Well y'all better split that again!
Me toooo
Hahaha 😂 same 😊
and again❤
Beautiful music, beautiful man, swoon every time.
The most romantic ending ever.Such a wonderful series that I watched over and over.. The look John gives Margaret and the soft stroking of her head where she was wounded by a rock just does me in. Its a beautiful piece of acting by both of them. I believe for some reason they had to shoot that scene over again and in an interview Daniela Denby Ashe say ... " reshooting was a tough job." LOL!
Love them. ♥️♥️♥️
Your coming home with me the most romantic and heartful sentence ❤❤❤
Slowest of burns
Creo que este final supera al final del libro
Yes it does. No comparison. This one is way much more romantic .
I always feel sorry for Henry in this scene. Let us not forget he loved her too.John Light is very handsome and a good actor, love him as Flambeau in Father Brown.😢😉
I thought about that too.
That kiss is everything !
I wanna see the look on his mother's face.....
😅👍
I truly love this scene. It is one of my favorite
You can really feel how seeing eachother again after months and months apart affects them, like time stops, the world stops moving around them. Margaret has lost so many people, and John has lost so much too. At long last, they have each other, completely and wholeheartedly. Everything can be okay now for them. It's so beautiful
I don't think you unworthy I need a moment to deliberate
This ending is SO much better than the book ❤️❤️❤️
Way better
Anyone with the music score for this lovely music, please share. Thank you
"Coming home with me!!!" 😍😍😍😍😍
I’m obsessed with this movie...❤️
C la fin de toutes mes stations
I saw this movie years ago! And now looking at the last scence! "Oh, when she kisses his hand!" And then the look on his face, when he thought that she was going to leave! This is what true acting is! This is was good and clean love scences are all about! The movie is excellent!
I ALWAYS TEAR UP here🥺😍
