เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 12 พ.ย. 2012
Founded by Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen, HFC is a national non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring change, and accelerating progress in Alzheimer’s care, prevention, and support. Our mission to care for families facing this disease, educate young people about living a brain-healthy life, and activate the next generation of Alzheimer’s advocates. HFC has raised over $12 million dollars, awarded over 290,000 hours of free in-home care relief to Alzheimer’s family caregivers, hosted nine star-studded variety shows and one celebrity-filled carnival, and is streaming on Netflix. HFC builds caregiver community and connectivity, engages young people across the country to become Alzheimer’s advocates, funds prevention-focused and brain-health research, and teaches people how to care for the health of their brains today, so they can reduce their risk tomorrow. While there isn’t a cure, there is care. #LightForAlzheimers

"Focus on the abilities, not the disabilities. " I like that. 😊 And "Self-care is self-preservation."
Thank you, ladies, for sharing your stories. ❤
This was very informative! Thank you, Jessica, for sharing your journey with your mom. ❤
I attended the original session, but it was such a good discussion that I had to hear it again. I love the advice about being intentional in setting boundaries and also about carving out ways to find joy. Patti, I loved the poem about grieving at the beginning and the story about the arm tattoo in your mom's handwriting. Jacquelyn, I loved how you find so much delight in wearing your mom's vintage dresses and how you both are taking on new hobbies and interests. Thanks so much for this session!
I deeply appreciate this conversation for do many reasons, I have learnt so much. Thank you to each and every one of you, immense love to you all❤❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU!
I’m eating fish right now.
All of that stuff is bad for you. All plants are bad for you; plants are poison. These people hate you.
Thank you ❤️
This wasn’t in the last episode of Abbott 🤔🤣 Love Quinta & all her success❤❤
Alzheimers is a tragedy. How sad that people would suffer like that.
Not a doctor. Barely an actor.
Great, easy to follow content! I found the dementia road trip quickly with a web search, but it would be helpful to have a direct link to it in the video description. 😉

I don't really know if this will reach Seth rogen, or anyone. But through the Alzheimer's association group they turned me on to you. I left a comment on your Instagram, hoping to figure out how to get in contact with you all. And I got banned because they said I was trying to get followers that happened 30 minutes ago. I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen here. The quickest story I can share is my mother who spent years serving people with her home-baked goods and foods and breads, is now diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia. My mother and father are both in their late 70s, me and my family live with them to try to help take care of them. But it is continually getting harder, resources and funds are running out the group that turned me on to your organization you created. Said there is some way to try to get a grant for assistance. I have looked at every possible way and I just don't understand how to get in contact with you all.... Hopefully this works. I have nothing else to lose. My name is Micah my # is 832-506-8806. Sometimes all you can do is hope for a miracle. I appreciate what you do, even if I never hear from you.ty
Define please Joanna
Same thing when Harris talks

Hello Dear,I hope this message finds you well. I have visited your youtube channel and after checking found some issues due to which your youtube channel is not being Growing and the videos are not being More views. The main reason for this is that your video tags are not correct, the video description is not provided according to the meta. No sharing on social media. Vidiq And Tubebuddy SEO score is very low. Your channel will never grow until you solve them,If you want to solve these problems of your TH-cam channel and improve the channel, I can help you because I am a TH-cam Organic Promotion & SEO Expert.
Steve Aoki is a thief and fraud
I also want to personally thank Trevor Noah who, with his specials on Netflix, during these past Christmas holidays, helped me, through his personal story and his comedy, to react, making me laugh out loud alone, in a moment of particular despair. of my life. Thank you with all my heart
It was a very interesting and touching exchange. she reminded me of many moments of my mother's illness in which we truly laughed out loud also at what she herself said while under morphine and which she occasionally became aware of. and we children continued to laugh with her while she left and after she left. This allowed us to lighten up and vent the enormous pain we were feeling
I think often people get caught up in what the think Self-Care is or should look like. There are things we can do (speaking as a former co-caregiver for my stepmom who had Vascular Dementia and Alz) upgrade things we already do, engaging in things even for 1 minute throughout our day. (listening to music while we prep food, a lovely scented body wash or spray for in the shower or one of those head scrubbies, taking a deep breath while you are in the bathroom, warm washcloth on the face etc)
This is a really great video/discussion. Incredibly thought-provoking.

I'm not a comedian, I'm a registered nurse and midwife. I worked for 38 years as a district nurse. During these years, I accompanied many patients and also their families until the end, until the death of the patient. It was difficult, sad and full of challenges. However, without humor and laughter, I could not endure it. Laughter helped family members, the patient, and myself. Thank you for this conversation! It is really helpful to know that you too have had difficult times caring for your loved ones.
Of all your available videos, I watched this one first because it's what I needed most. Jennifer, good questions for Pamela. Pamela, very helpful comments about list making and how to proceed with getting help. A couple of technical comments: It would have been nice to first introduce yourselves-your names and your roles. Jennifer, too many hand movements for a video like this. And the background cutout around your hair was odd looking.
This is just what I needed to hear. Appreciate everyone! Thank you for your insight & humor for me during my journey with dementia with my dad : )
Congratulations everyone! You're all amazing. Thank you for your praiseworthy perspective on caregiving, humor (comedy), and your noble personal caregiving experience. I am inspired by your thoughts and able to relate because I am providing care to my dearest husband
Love the quick turnaround!
A lovely view of how a support groups gives space to explore and be held up - thank you, Miriah
great content keep it up!

❤️🙌
Such a powerful, dare I say “surprising“ simple explanation of what triggers us to remember (and not). Thanks very much, HFC!
Thank you for helping our caregivers!
Caring child taking care of her father suffering from dementia....what a great thought of cariñg girl. Prayers to. Lord for the caring girl. God bless you and give you a healthy happy life. Happy holidays......
Soon many people have experienced this. More than we'd hope. I've held the hand of 2 people as they died in alzhiemers. And seen it directly effect people I love. I love❤ what HFC does. And love it when women are at least half the people in the room.
This was an excellent presentation.
Thanks for inviting me to share and fast track caregivers to resources to help mitigate the worries around caregiving.
It was a good discussion . Thank you Dr. Sanjay arranging all the panellists. God bless you all.
You are worth it! Give it a try I liked it
My sister was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimers on her 60th birthday. Her language was the first to be affected; short answers, (yes and no), not engaging in conversations, withdrawing from communication in general. As other areas of functioning decreased, and rapidly, we felt this loss even more so because her language skills were severely limited. The bright spot was sitting in church with her. As one of the panelist stated, she came alive when a hymn was being sung. Her lips moved! Her voice was being heard through the verses of the song! She knew the entire hymn and we heard her sing! So for those who have a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia, music is a great communication tool that can bring moments of joy in tough times.
