All stock except for the saddles and tuners. Changed the saddles to Wilkinson SW3 Brass Swivel Saddles and the tuners to Guyer Locking Tuners.

I no longer have this guitar, so I can’t measure for you. Sorry! But I’m pretty sure the pickup heights along with the setup were factory spec.

@@halfbakedmunky5566 No issues at all. Sold it because I'm downsizing, already own a Fender Strat, and I just play with my Suhr more these days.

Yes, if you’re able to first play one in person. Quality control is not consistent and frets may need work. I suggest spending a little more on the Player Series II or even Player Series. Quality control is still inconsistent at times, so best to try before you buy, but Made In Mexico Fenders hold value better in the used market than Made In Indonesian Squiers.

Thanks! Would have enjoyed doing a comparison, but unfortunately I no longer have the Ultra. Here are my thoughts though. My first guitar was a Fender American 70s Reissue Strat that I’ve owned since 2007. Having played that, an Ultra, and an Am Pro II, I can say that the Am Pro II is the most “true to Strat” out of the three. The weight, neck carve, and rosewood fretboard all make for a comfortable playing experience. The Ultra was also comfortable to play, but the neck felt too thin for the “strat experience.” They all sound great and can’t go wrong with any of them.

@@hanskorn what did you think about the ultra pickups?

For me, they sound great and have the classic Fender tone, but still noisy despite being advertised as noiseless. I prefer the older Fender Vintage Noiseless Strat pickups.
