Starting from Wainwright a lot of older villages have disappeared. Jarrow, Phillips,Poe.
Yes, there are a large number of small towns that are no longer. It's still happening, towns and villages are shrinking year by year.
Hey 14 is my home. Viking to Wainwright but Bruce and Holden are near and dear.👍
I am currently in Ryley and my kids went to the Holden School. It's good to hear there are locals watching and hopefully enjoying my videos.
👍😊
😀
in a town 200 EVERYBODY knows your business before you do
So true, even in slightly larger towns too.
Very cool. I'm originally from there. Cheers ✌️🇨🇦
Thank you for the kind words. Hopefully I brought back some good memories for you.
@@gradientimaging Myrnam has definitely changed, but you really captured the village well. Cheers!
Question: I’m registered in Germany/EU. I got my license for Germany/EU and I got a normal 5.000.000€ insurance world wide. What do I have to do now to fly in Canada legally?
You would have to apply for an SFOC as a foreign operator. I would suggest you apply at least a month before you want to fly.
Thanks for the information
Glad I can help out.
Stupid overplaying music
i went here
More and More Canadians will see that, More they will regain confidence and help fight against Organize Crimes ❤
It is a good show and definitely makes me proud of our officers.
@@gradientimaging your right 👍
Thank you for the video !!
You are welcome. It's a nice village.
Not much in that town except a huge wiener.
do you have to provide proof of TP 15263 for basic operations drone ?? as a foreign pilot
Last time I checked the rules, no. However, there are new regulations coming into effect soon so that may change.
Thanks for the video! 😍
You are welcome.
Used to live there. Fun to see it again.
It is a nice little town. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Great video watching in canada
Thank you for all your kind words. It definitely helps keep me going.
Great Video thanks, my wife and I looked at a property last year. That property was not for us but the area felt like home. As soon as we find the one for us, we will make the move. Cheers!
Mirror is a friendly town. I felt at home there too every time I visited.
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks
Glad I was able to help you out.
Greatvideo
Thank you for the kind words

Was it the "hint" on the wall? LOL
Alix MACC Alumni! Pizza Pantry is nummers.
Yes, Pizza Pantry makes a pretty good pie.
Two hills ?
No it is not Two Hills. This town is about two hours west of Two Hills.
Lamont
No, sorry, not Lamont.
Nice video
Nice video
Calmar Alberta
I can neither confirm nor deny. 😀
It's Calmar. 100 percent.
@@seantap1415 You would be correct.
Lomont
Not Lamont, try again.
It's hard to hear you over the music. But great video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me ❤❤❤
Thanks for the information I will keep that in mind and thank you for the kind words as well.
Vermilion
It is actually Falher, Alberta
Is it Vegerville?
Had to map out where the New Horizon coops were and it looks like Valleyview. Sorry for cheating!
Even "cheating" didn't help. Try again
Hi Mike, I will be coming to Alberta next year doing Banff and Jasper National parks. I have a HoverAirX1 flying selfie drone weighing 125gm. Will i be able to use it or is it a no go in the these parks.??
Personally I would not risk it. You might get away with it but if you don't the fines can go as high as $25,000 CAD.
Ok Mike, thank you.
When i was 5 my sister always thought it was staring at us as we drove by, i would say its chasing her when she looked away
You should hed by chetwynd and look at the wood statues, i pass by there all the time on the way to powder king
That is funny, for you at least, sounds like something I might have done too.
So small whoops or 2 inches are the way to go for fpv
Definitely less rules for sub-250 gram drones but, as the law stands right now you still need a trained VO for any FPV flights outdoors.
VO? cant you fly micros bvlos?
Nah your right, ah well
I had relatives there and visited it a few times. I love those small town memories. They are special very Canadian places.
Glad to hear I was able to bring back some memories for you.
Prairie towns pretty much look all the same. They must of had the same set of plans for each town because they all look horrible with no imagination. You would of thought that it would look nice like Germany or Poland?
You are right but I think it has more to do with efficiency and cost than lack of imagination.
I recently purchased a thermal camera for home inspections, but I am having difficulty distinguishing between normal and abnormal readings. As a non-expert, I find it challenging to interpret the images correctly, and the cut-off points seem ambiguous...
Keep trying. Use something you know the temperature of like a glass of boiling water. Also keep in mind that the best temperature to inspect is at least a ten degree difference between inside and outside. You may want to look into some training as well. Hopefully this helps.
@gradientimaging, thank you for sharing these valuable pieces of advice. I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider creating a video on this topic.
Gradient,useful done,
Thank you.
& if you think of it the biggest whatever brings you off the highway into these small towns.
If you buy snacks and drinks it would help the local economy as well.
Great video. It hasn't changed tons since I was a teen. ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope I was able to bring back some memories for you.
Sooooo beautyfull🙏🙏🙏
Spent part of my childhood growing up in Vilna. Great memories.
How can you put weather on an sfoc 30 days in advance?
It's not specific weather it is the weather minimum that your drone can handle. Transport Canada presumes that if you add the information you will follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Ok
Well you showed a town in amongst Farmers fields could have been a lot better if you want to show the downtown what people really want to say and one shot of the surrounding area is all that would have been needed
Thank you
Looks just like Pingu! Noot Noot!
I hadn't noticed but now that you say it I see it too.
Since I released this video Autel Robotics have been put back on the approved list. You can find the complete list at this link: tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/drone-safety/learn-rules-you-fly-your-drone/choosing-right-drone
