Here is my opinion: Neck: The Stock PU wins (I guess an Epiphone 57CH, a very good PU) Bridge: The Vanson wins! Thanks! This ist what I was looking for.

I heard a little more top end from the Vanson pickups, maybe a bit more twangy too? I'm surprised there wasn't a bigger difference in the upgrade, but that's just to my ears alone. I recently fitted a Wilkinson WVOB bridge pickup into a Squier Bullet Telecaster and noticed a substantial difference, the Bullet sounds like a classic 50's Telecaster now. Thanks for the comparison video.👍

weird how when you speed it up it sounds very out of tune vibratoy, but when it's slow it sounds great

I don’t see too much of a difference. I would stay with the ceramics.

Maybe keep one of each: the vanson neck pickup and the original bridge pickup. The neck on the original pickups sounds a little muddy and the vanson brings clarity, but the vanson bridge pickup didn't have the same punch as the original. Might make the mid range more ideal

That's an interesting set - I have another guitar with A5 in the neck and A2 in the bridge. Might get these to test the change

Sounds great. So many choices out there. You can't gowrong over stock. You might consider your wiring too.

My old epi had woolly sounding pups, these were a great upgrade.

Nice demo. I have a MIM Standard and find it a bit to dark. These seemed to have opened it up with more clarity. Do you like them or am I better of just getting a more expensive set? I have Vanson humbuckers in my Epiphone LP and found them way better than stock.

The Vansons have more clarity but also sound thin to my ears. Also are you comparing the 2 sets of pickups in the same guitar??
