While touring the Mosel region in Germany I had the pleasure of visiting Idar-Oberstein, a town in Rhineland-Palatinate that has a very interesting and ''rich'' history. It's not on everyone's tourist map, but maybe it should be!

While in Germany, I visited the charming town of Cochem, located in wine country, on the Mosel River. The imposing hilltop castle, Reichsburg, is an amazing sight! And the town with its half-timbered buildings and cobblestone streets looks like it could be from a scene in movie!

Lisbon Comedy: Live at Selva

I have been doing my Stand-up comedy for a year and a half now and I'm loving it! It's just a great hobby I found to augment to my retirement activity! I'm getting better and better and performing more and more and will continue to do so! I find it very therapeutic that I can joke about my recent heart attack!! I love and miss my nephew Tommy so much. I took him skydiving for his very 1st time when he, Tommy and Matteo came to visit me in Portugal last year in July. This is a true bucket list item for most people! It was for me! What an incredible and exhilarating experience! Just short of 8K, this magnificent hike is amazing! Highly recommend if you do get the chance to do it!!

I recently took a trip to Marrakesh, Morocco! I stayed in the walled-in historical city of Medina. I also took a 2 day excursion to the Sahara desert where I rode a camel during the sunset. Then, I had camel for dinner the next night back in Medina!! This was such a great trip!!

Hi Johnny If you dont know the Alentejo region, as soon as you can book a trip there and be prepared to fall in love. from a fabulous cost line with beaches to the interior. I have lost my heart to Alentejo many years ago. Suggest Porto Covo, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Aljezur by the sea or Evora, Reguengos de Monsaraz, Mora and the Alqueva in the interior.
