Hey I just got my Tascam dp 008 ex last week, and have been enjoying your instructions. But I am stuck on something, and I can't find it in the tutorials. Can you tell me how to use the "Silence" track edit function? I want to erase only a small segment of an individual track, so I can re-record over an error. If it's on one of your videos, list it so I can find it. Thanks. Steve

I have a keyboard connected to my 008ex...via the two 1/4 inch jacks . I cannot use my XLR phantom powered mic if those jacks are plugged in . The 008 will NOT let the mic input work if the two line inputs have jacks in them ...its driving me nuts . Do you have the same issue?

Love this. I was just about to pull the trigger on the Flow today but got scared with so many negative comments about this ridiculous power supply. Can you tell me what you actually bought, especially the strain relief part. Is that plugg into something? TY!!

If I'm recording only on input A to tracks 3 and 4, should I set them to A-A? Mono or stereo?

Can i use this pedalboard, in addition to external pedal like this video, with the four cable method? I've got an overdrive pedal that can also switch my amp's channels using one of its outputs. I want to add it to this pedalboard like you did in that video.

i have the TA-RW344 and everytime i try to click the record button it just flashes for a second but never does anything, I may be dumb but I cant seem to get it to work

Is this an old school way of mixing? I’m just confused on why you would mix your headphones differently than how the audience would hear it. Don’t know anything about mixing but it seems like if you listened to the mix with headphones it should be to hear if the mix is sounding right and in order to know if it’s right, shouldn’t it be the same mix? Thanks!

Can you save a scene with all the settings for each track and recall it by loading a song for example? Or does one have to adjust the tracks for each song manually?

I was stunned when I received it that there wasn't a better modulation selection. I guess they're trying to make it better, but frankly, the Valeton was for me a much better value.

My solution is probably the most expensive. I have a Boss RC505 Mk2 looper that I go mic in and then out of the looper into Tascam 😂Of course I didn't plan it that way, it was more about having this unit in the back of my gear closet for a while then realizing its actually a really nice piece of equipment that I should use

Learned everything from you on how to use my dp-008ex , just upgrade to a model 12, but seems I can't assign track to whatever channel I want to record to, I have to unplug the mic and plug into the channel I want to record on and that's disappointing, is there a way to assign tracks? Another thing, how to connect the model 12 to Android phone to get that clear audio, thanks man

How come my delay and reverb wont record onto my DAW? The tracks go in wet but record dry. I'm going insane here!

Micro USB is the worst connector and the variation of quality on the supply side for the connectors is still terrible. The whole connector was poorly designed. Those 90° micro connectors that are reversible are the first improvement I've seen in the connector since their existence.

I liked the extra bass of the 57 but you could just get the behry and then raise that bass on the EQ. Front mics hold up suprisingly well. What are some ways to get the dp-008ex closer? I use a drum mic stand because I work in a small corner

I would give this a thumbs up even if I had no idea what he was talking about or didn’t have this device. He’s like that embracing teacher we hopefully all had at some point in our childhood.

It's a great pedal. I'm a Kemper owner and it stacks up really well. The software sucks. I upgraded to V2.0.1 and it made the pedal unusable. I love the pedal, but I was going go send it back. Fortunately I was able to downgrade the software to V1.0.0 and the pedal was good again. As you are pointing out, there are bugs in the software. The pedal is great so I will live with the bugs for now, but I just hope NUX can sort it out and turn the pedal into what it should be . Thanks for your video, it confirms what I thought.
