    Hello, a warm greeting from the province of Pontassieve in Florence, Italy. I am the respected owner of a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a m13a 1.3 LT petrol engine, petrol, completely original, year 2001. In fact, it is completely original, which I often drive on country and forest roads, and with the appropriate mud tires it will do well too. The Suzuki Jimmy 4x4, although completely original, I see it in its natural habitat when I approach country agricultural and forest roads that are used by logging companies to transport wood in logging trucks

      Thanks. I noticed the roof system had leaked in some point. I cleaned the area well from all oil. I have to lift the back seat to see has it been fixed before or is it more constant. I couldn't find any source for that potential leak.

    • @preamble466
      @preamble466 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MS940 well, when the pump is going bad it leaks. The previous owner of mine replaced the two hydraulic cylinders and it’s still inoperable. I too found a large amount of hydraulic fluid (essentially auto-trans fluid) under the carpet. I had to replace all the foam padding. The power steering can also leak and run down the passenger footwell, but nowhere this much fluid. Supposedly the wildely available Mustang pump from that era will also work.

    • @MS940
      @MS940 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'll give it a thought. It is fairly simple to install, but you need to make 2 inlet adapters and extend throttle and choke cables few inches. Preferably change them to longer ones. Those adapters are the hardest part. In 1.3 liter engine inlet manifold is different. I think this is possible only in 1.0 because of that.

      All new metal was 1mm. It is thicker than original. Mostly welding was done slowly with my old MIG. The roof warped as well as rear door. On that I used TIG for heat shrinking and pulled back to shape with nail hooks. I think my new MIG welder is bit too powerful for thin sheet metal.
