Just some laps with one of my favorite cars, the Corvette C7R. Running without magnets, with added weights and trued wheels, trued slot.it tyres.

Carrera Digital 132 track planning - testing different layout

This is an earlier version of the mountain track that I was testing. In the end I decided on a different layout, but this layout would have been heaps of fun too. The cars are a Silver Mercedes DTM Ghost car and the Red/white Audi with me driving, and no magnets in the Audi. All of our cars have at least the tyres upgraded, which makes it possible to run the cars without magnets.

Shortened version of the other FHR video Cars converted to Carrera Digital 132, racing on painted Carrera track. Track is 15.5m approx. on an L shaped table. Space is limited so layout is dense to fit more length, but I didn't want the views blocked so only one bridge/overpass. My first D132 layout with scenery set up in late 2019. Running two ghost cars BMW M6 and Porsche 918. Track is around 12m per lap. Table is 3m x 2.4m L shape.

Looking good, how do you get that grey looking realistic track surface ?
I paint it with two coats of diluted grey matt acrylic (wall paint), and then detail. Thin paint allows the track to keep its texture.

I would start with a Carrera Digital 132 set. You can then add track packs, cars, and different curves etc.

From memory they are 1:48, that was the closest I could get to the 1:43 Carrera scale
