Ive Flow the 757 t/a a few times, with United in economy plus from Hamburg to Newark (9:10 that day due to headwinds!) and in business with continental from Düsseldorf to Newark, and even cologne to Newark, back in the mid 2000s. Also transcontinental several times, which is comparable. I’ve experienced all classes the two airlines have offered. I think two factors are decisive when it comes to your trip experience. 1. Your position in the aircraft - the further forward the better in terms of comfort due to aircraft motion and noise level. 2. Seating class - obviously Polaris/business/first is a game changer, and flying in United Premium Plus is quite pleasant, and perfectly adequate for a daytime flight, IMO. But even economy plus (which is automatically available to me given my status) is a significant upgrade over regular economy in terms of spaciousness, and I don’t think it’s that pricey if you have to purchase your way in, either. Well worth it, IMO. Gets you further forward too. If you’re stuck behind the wing in most aircraft and airlines, in regular economy - yeah, it’s not exactly pleasant. Yes, rhetoric 757 is showing the age of its design and a number of little ways, but I still like flying them if I’m in one of the premium cabins.

Well you have 10kg bag to carry on board, while with Ryanair not, but the small bag you can carry on board plus you’re 10kg… is technically smaller then Ryanair, that’s means for me, I cant properly fit my duffle bag as a small bag bag with AER while in the Ryanair I can! You can pay 10kg extra with Ryanair for 20€ and the cost is the same a the end. Seats and legs space is the same, unless you don pay an extra like Ryanair too! So 😩 no much difference at all!

I appreciate that there is a good service like that. I'm Brazilian but lives in England for long long time. The Brazilian coaches for long distance like: Marcopolo, Comil and Busscar can offer the BEST experience and comfort for passengers. In England there is not good service. Few times I bought tickets for front seats but the bus/coaches Start the service/travel with windshield completely DIRTY, and on rainy days the driver DOESN'T turn on the windshield wipers. In Brazil the bus/coaches for long distance start the travel immaculately clean. If the travel during over 12 hours, in the motorways, will geve time of 30 minutes and will be cleaning up inside and outside. Is great service!!!

Flixbus is the worst bus company in Europe, trust in me….

On the Italy-Germany route (which includes Switzerland on the way), some Flixbuses are operated by Flixbus Italia and some by Flixbus Germany, this is shown on the website when you book the tickets. The ones operated by Flixbus Germany are usually double decker and are more punctual. The 9:05 bus (which you took) is operated by Flixbus Italia, the 11:30 is operated by Flixbus Germany. The quality of Flixbuses vary a lot depending on the country. The last trip I had was on Flixbux Portugal and the driver was texting and reading message on whatsapp for a lot of time while driving and was talking loudly on the phone for 60% of the journey (I had the panorama seat). Out of the 7 trips I have taken on Flixbus Portugal, 5 didn't have the wifi working, 6 had the toilet locked (driver casually saying it is out of order) and 4 didn't have USB ports despite all the things advertised on the website while booking. This is also very reflective of how things work in Portugal and the general work culture there. Flixbus Germany is totally a different experience compared to that.

For me a vending machine is not 1st class. Better with steward and ideally it should be free tea and coffee. It costs literally cents to provide tea and coffee onboard using sachets.

The absolute worst 1st class cabin of any train. I’ve ridden this type of train last year a few times thinking that it would be nicer than the 2nd class. Wrong. Will book for the 2nd class cabin for sure with 2-2 seat configuration for all IC train from this company, DB.

FRS are OK until theyre not.. ferrys are routinely late with no explanation. I had a horrendous experience a few years ago where the port of tarifa was closed so had to go to algeciras, which goes to tanger med port, some 30 km away from tanger, and again no help with transport back to tanger. Also very strange, when you got off the ferry you weren't immediately hassled to death by numerous tour guides and taxi drivers wanting your business, or people selling crap. That has been my experience everytime getting off the ferry at Tangier. Its enough to put you off going to the country ever again as they are relentless! You can easilly walk into tangier centre from the port, you dont need a taxi or a tour.

as a tourist who has visited both of these 2 cities, I'd say London is WAY Better! At least London underground doesn't have strange smell and sticky floor😢

I would go for London because: 1: they are upgrading new trains 2: you feel more safer 3: it isn’t that dirty at all 4: they have one line that is automatic 5: New York’s subway just have graffiti all over the train in most of the trains and you would feel unsafe, you can find many homeless people and rats too

There is a similar airline that people hate to here in the United States of America and that airline is Spirit Airlines love it or you hate it I've never flown on that airline i normally fly frontier airlines

You don't need to go into Rotterdam to get the train connection to Amsterdam. You can get off the metro at Schiedam Centtrum and catch the Amsterdam train from there. Saves at least an hour.
