    Okay, I don't understand why you used a 59 Neck in the bridge position? Maybe it doesn't make a difference whether you use a 59N or 59B in the bridge. Maybe they are the same? As for sound comparison, the SD has more power and is more articulate. The Dimarzio PAF sounds a bit muffled and weak. And I think you played a Gibson Les Paul mahogany body with maple top, am I correct? The SD's fit well with the Les Paul but does sound a bit too bright on the trebles for my taste. The Dimarzio because it is more muffled it is softer on the trebles.

      Hi. Just for curious to see how 59N compares to Dimarzio 59. Dimarzio is warm sounding because it's bridge pickup and Duncan brighter because it's meant to be neck pickup. Neck pickups in bridge is always very bright, like too much for my taste. I use cheaper Tokai LP this video. These days i have Gibson Traditional 2016.

    Yeah, I had a feeling it was that nut. Its pretty much plastic trash. It's still a great guitar for the price, but it may just be more of a modding guitar. So maybe looking at 80 to 100 dollars in modifications.

    • @kuitaristi3003
      @kuitaristi3003 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it's not just that it's plastic nut but that, those nut holes are little too tight or not trimmed as it should be so strings can't slide as free as those should. When i tried tusq nut i had pretty much same problem because nut holes was not cut right size. I order needle files to try those to nut holes as cheap way fix. Some say those works so we'll see. It's a good opportunity to learn how to file a nut.

  • @Hiro.the.God.
    @Hiro.the.God. หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think the main issue is the nut. The plastic nut that comes with the guitar is very low quality. I lightly sanded the inside of the grooves with very fine sanding paper and I put graphite in the slots, and it helps minimally. I think if you get locking tuners and a tusq nut you should be able to use the tremolo. I also seen a guy who replaced the bridge with a Wilkinson trem, and he floated it. He can bend both way with it.

    • @kuitaristi3003
      @kuitaristi3003 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @kuitaristi3003

      Hi. Put something that blocks the bridge to moving then it should stay in tune better. I got new gotoh bridge and locking tuners that i will install and see will my model stay in tune then? If not then it really is the nut, but i have new nut too to test also. Tuning issue is usually biggest problem with cheaper guitars and usually it is nut issue that, strings stick it too much and don't come back to where those was.

    Montys are freaking amazing. Got a set of I'm assuming just the montys paf ot sure if it's under wound or what but it's quieter than my slash buckers or my SD sethlovers or the 490r and 498t set. But they are way way more crystal clear and can rip as hard as the rest but they get closer to a single coil sound. Just has the little montys paf looking sticker maybe the word neck written in a kinda hard to read handwriting I know the bridge pickup lead has a little wite tag someone drew a little London bridge on and I thought that was extra cool too. Anyway I'm sold on a set of humbuckers that he says should be like a telecaster om steroids and I would say that's a good description. So fun to responsive and am glad whoever put them in the goldtop I bought cause man I'll never buy anything else again . Seymour Duncan has no clue what a PAF should sound like if these Montys are anything to go by.

      @kuitaristi3003 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nice! If you are not sure what Monty's pup you have then measure the DCR (k) amount of it and compare to it to Monty's site ones. I would not say that, Duncan don't know how PAF should sound like or any other because PAF pickups sound was never just a one type of sound, there was/is a lot of different sounding old PAF's from Gibson cause some had different magnet and amount of coil wire. These days pickups sounds the same because they are made the same. Also parts are different material than old days that effects too.

Using guitar volume does a lot :) Playing metal volume knob is more like distortion level control, and when playing rock you can get cleans by backing volume. 50's wiring also makes guitar pretty versatile. • @VitorPh3nom
    @VitorPh3nom หลายเดือนก่อน

    From what i saw online, ppl say the main reasons for tuning problems are the tuners and nut, not the bridge itself, saw a couple of videos where a kid was doing light dive bombs on a black JS22 w/o going out of tune, another guy with a blue one with a wilkinson WVS50 w/o locking tuners and on his replies he said it would go out of tune if he went a little hard on the whammy bar use. I'd say to focus on the nut and tuners if you want tuning stability, people crap on Jackson's tuners but i don't know if they are really that bad, i recently bought a JS32 with a locking system so i wouldn't really know if they are THAT bad, for me at least, they seem to do their job. I think the springs are really crappy though, whenever i use my floyd, it goes ever so slightly sharp or flat depending on which direction i push it, nothing crazy but still.

    • @kuitaristi3003
      @kuitaristi3003 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. I think also that, Jackson tuners are maybe not that bad. I tighten all the tuner screws and now those feel very strong so i don't know if tuners are the reason at all? You don't need to buy locking tuners because you can lock the strings by that one method that some use. It locks the strings same way like locking tuners but for free. It can be nut and i order a new Graph tech PT-6643-00 Black Tusq nut which should be good and very slick so strings doesn't get stuck. If tuning still fails after nut change next part is to try new springs for tremolo. If it is not the springs then it has to be Jackson tremolo bridge and that is little more expensive but i will change that if it's the reason cause i like this guitar very much, it's maybe my second best guitar after strat.

      Yes but this way you have options. Just by using piece of wood you can have hardtail, and by taking it off you can use tremolo again :) Also i haven't seen any JS Dinky models with normal tune o matic/hardtail bridge which is little strange? But for me i wanna use my tremolo.

      @@patrickshannon4516 Cheap floyd rose can have tuning issues too, but yes floyd rose usually has better tuning stability because both ends are locked. It's not impossible to get this 2 point kind of tremolo to stay in tune but it needs some things to do, or change the tremolo bridge to other or nut, or both for better ones. I just like this strat kind of trem more because it's easier and faster to change strings and it's more familiar to me. My strat has 6 point trem (normal Fender strat trem) and it stays in tune fine.

      Nice, but what is swaybar fixed set? I get this guitar stay in tune by blocking tremolo with piece of wood. Now it stays in tune like should be so i think it is that tremolo that sucks not the nut. BUT i'm gonna try things with that trem to see it is really that what causes the problem.

      I think sound wise Amplitube 5 is maybe little more real, but Bias AMP2 is good too. There's Bias FX2 and AMP2 and differences are that, FX has effects too and AMP2 only amps. Best solution if someone gets BIAS is own both FX2 and AMP2 because you can mix those. I think you manage fine with amplitube.
