Way to do research, and investigate the origins of the ideas for the exists of promo cars. Of course, it's a given for them to be used as a sales tactic, but much like music - you can remember where you were and how you felt when a song came out. The sentiment behind them is what keeps them valuable.
Definitely, a cool car. I personally would like to see it in black. And, interesting how the same model for something and be repurposed for something else once it reaches other shores. Also, as an 80s child, it was a simple time and when you had an Acura - you were doing well. In fact, I had a 6th grade math instructor that had a forest green Acura and my buddies thought he was the man. Another bang up job!
can you make more with hellcats but do challenger instead, and how did you put the big hellcat logo on there?
Thank you for watching first and foremost and actually I did do some hellcat challengers. Check out the hellcat gang video, also the hellcat logo was hand drawn onto the car. It took me some time to do it but that's how I did it.
That lady was wrong for trying to back out on the original deal. I'm glad that eventually you got the Chrysler though. And, you were definitely inventive with repurposing other models parts that you weren't using. The red makes the car pop. Cool and relatable back story.
Looks awesome. The goblin head looks too much over sized for the truck. You can't see the cab
@@coreycarver9974 I'm not sure what measurements the guy used to 3d the goblin but it is a little oversized, but all in all it looks cool
Cool car. And, I DEFINITELY see a correlation with transformers, but more from the perspective of a guy that grew up with the animated and 3D series. Also, that's a great feature for us tall people to have the roof peel back like that. Another banger! I actually prefer the gray with tints of blue.
I like the modifications. Mainly the maroon, (red,) interior that gives the dark blue a nice pop. And, the lights are fine. I don't think being excessive with them would have helped. They're more tasteful how you have them. Finally, that's a great measuring system. Even as you've had some happy accidents acquiring 132 scale vehicles, (much like your semi in previous videos.) Good work!
I dig the presentation and the explanation as usual. I especially dig the comparison that you did to show the scale difference between 1:32 and 1:24 models with the semi trucks. The flames on the semi were wicked, and personal favorites are the Crimson red Lexus and concept Bugatti that never made it to production. It's interesting to see what ideas never make it to the forefront. Also, I like how you both turn your order mistakes, and their errors to just something to add to the collection. I say that even with your bike that came in pieces along your mobile home.
Another bang up job! Initially, I was expecting you to keep it subtle when you were adding a splash of color to the interior and changing the wheels on the Navigator and the first 2002 Escalade, which honestly are awesome features, because the interior and the wheels make the cars pop, but you went as far as to make the vehicles more anatomically correct by adding working lights and fog lights on them especially fog lights for the 2002 version. Secondly, even as they didn't appear on the 2017 one, you mentioned your thought process for potentially adding LEDs. That, in itself, is actually pretty wicked. Also, interesting Land Rover. I don't know if the writings are Chinese or Cantonese either, but I do know that they made the vehicle really accessible with opening doors, but you can DEFINITELY determine the attention to detail with a working ladder, opening gas tank, and a box for a shovel?! I'm NOT a car expert/collector in any way, but that's a serious market for competition if the Chinese market is competing on that level. Thirdly, and finally, dude?! That FJ Cruiser. Nuff said. Brilliant modifications. If the purists dislike it - you DEFINITELY are opening their minds about a different process to consider and being creative. Everything from the wheels that you salvaged, to the color scheme you've used are just impressive. And, for me, that says alot, because I have a biase for black. 👏👏✊✊
This is hella dope! 🔥🔥
Another bang up job! Firstly, reading the product description and determining that you can go beyond just what is seemingly capable for the product is TRULY thinking outside the box. Finding that just with a drill you can do more than, 'open doors,' but you can carefully and tastefully open the hood and trunk is pretty cool. And, to create an engine on what is a blank canvas is a gift. Secondly, the Maybach DEFINITELY had seeming visual interest with the subtle brown interior to give it a splash of color, and the pillows. That and the Maybach - Mercedes with the white on black and black with on silver on top. Btw, the added feature of wine glasses were a nice touch and I think illustrates what the idea of luxury was intended for. I didn't know that the first Maybach wasn't a best seller and that they revamped the idea by joining Mercedes and Maybach. And, finally, GMC buying Hummer after their attempt at making it a civilian accessible vehicle showed face, but didn't last long after the H1 and finally H3 is interesting. It's all marketing. Speaking of, I agree with your decision to rid of the overbearing crab icons, and much like the Nissan Z making the wheels black from gold to giving the GMC Hummer larger wheels gives it more visual impact. Another one for the books! 👏👏✊✊✊
This is the one! I remember when we initially spoke about what you would do to two of the same car and man... You DEFINITELY pushed it to the limit. Not only did you give it that nice brilliant red, and you tricked out the interior and added a wick hellcat logo, but, (if that wasn't enough,) you added a soldering process that allowed for it to project red in the headlights. This is a win for the arts department, (as I'm part of it. ) I really like how you showed that perseverance as you added that spray coat twice, (as you said,) but that third coat left imperfections that caused you to reassess and decide to go at it by hand with the Testers paint. Way to turn it around! Problem solving sometimes brings about the best results. And, back to the log itself....I like how accurate your hand was when you were able to basically free hand draw it on both on the left and right which shows you have a VERY good grasp of perspective and form. Admittedly, I struggle with it even as I was an art student. I ALWAYS need a reference, and certainly have to check my portions. Oh, and of course, nothing was wrong with the original car, (it's just as wicked,) but there's just something about the flair of customization. Bang up job! 👏👏✊✊
All the cars were great, (as usual,) but I like the Crown due to it being one of the cars that is discreetly of luxury and they just started selling them in the States. Also, even as I'm not one for SUVs and trucks, I do like the color of that Highlander. And finally, that Camry sport is slick the white on black is awesome, but that red on black that you displayed in the pictures was killer!
Beautiful presentation as usual. My personal preferences are the The CL63, because of the curvy look,( and I noticed your enthusiasm as you explained,) and the CL600 appears in my favorite color, but I almost want to see the CL63 and CL600 swap colors respectfully, because even as their colors are cool as they are - it would be nice to see the diversity. Even as you changed the wheels. And, you're right. The wheels enhance the looks. Also, the 500SL convertible had that classic 80s look. The color's wicked. And, I didn't know the Mercedes made an RV. Interesting.
Hey Chris, another Great One. <DDG>
Great presentation! Personal preference for me would be the Ford Shelby, because it reminders me of a combination of a Camaro and Corvette, even as Corvettes that I've seen typically have sharper corners, (Camaros too.) I like the sentiment that you expressed for the Passat being that it's your average car and it's relatable, and the same goes for the Buick as it was a visual aide in promotion for sales that they don't do anymore. And, the Maserati is just a cool luxury car. Hope you can get that door open safely?
Love the garage background like that
Great collection
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
All the cars were awesome, however, I took personal interest in the Charger, because it reminds me of art school when the professor would have us display our projects and ask if we could be self critical along with anyone that would be critiquing us. I like how you self actualized and said that it's not perfect, but beyond perfection - I dug the concept immensely. I've moved from building models in my youth to other things, (no better or worst,) but I too used to build things that were unique to what the packaging suggested. Additionally, that Japanese race car that can gather up to 200mph is bitchin, dude! I just had to say that. Seeing the white with green striping could be interesting, even as I'm inclined to black. I KNOW the black looks evil. And, wow. That one of one Cadillac with reverse opening doors. No words... Nuff said! 👏👏✊✊🤘🤘
Hey Chris, I was thinking about dropping my 41 Willys Gasser at your garage today I need a tuneup
Bro that’s really 🔥🔥🔥🔥
