This was a while ago so I was still using the stock tone for this cdlc that the cdlc maker makes. These days I use my own tone

I don’t do that. I just have my guitar pluged to my pc with a rocksmith real tone cabel. Nothing else, other than a digitech drop pedal.

​@@noahneji5808Yeah, there should be a screw on the end of the neck that allows you to "de-bow" the neck, if you will. Also, did you know you could further enhance the intonation by adjusting the saddles?

I had the same problem with the sound not too long ago. My biggest problem with it was that my guitar cable was really bad. It can also be a grounding issue. My guitar is connected directly to my pc with the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. What I do on my keyboard is I change to my own tones which I've made in (Tone Designer) in the main menu. I assume you use the default tone in every song which is pretty bad because they almost always suck (in my opinion). Your problem with the bad sustain is probably due to the noise-gate, which is why you should create your own tone and set the noise-gate to what works best for your guitar. I don't know what price range your guitar is in, but if it's really cheap it probably has really bad pickups which has much worse sustain than more expensive ones. If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask, I will answer as best as I can.

So you’re using a real tone cable. 🤔 I was thinking about using it but read in the Internet saying it is so-so. My guitar cable price is low but guitar sounds okay out of Rocksmith. My guitars’ prices are medium range: 350-450$. And didn’t play with the guitar tone in Rocksmith. After you saying about noise gate and better sound I think I’ll definitely try it. Thank you for your answer, now I know what I can try to do. Have a good playtime with Rocksmith. It’s cool!
