I make films because I love it.
Old Alton Bridge
I made a recent visit to the Old Alton Bridge in Denton, TX. The bridge is supposed to be haunted because, according to a legend, a man was killed there in the 1930s by the KKK. There is no proof that a man was killed there, and no proof he existed. Still, the legend lives, and the bridge attracts many visitors.

I Visited The Buddhist Temple of Dallas
มุมมอง 953 หลายเดือนก่อน
I was able to make a video of The Buddhist Temple of Dallas. It's located on the North Side of Dallas, and is popular because they sell Thai Food on Sundays. The food and temple are both awesome, just remember that it's a place of worship. www.dallasites101.com/blog/post/head-to-the-buddhist-temple-of-dallas-for-a-thai-market-every-sunday/ Shot on Pixel 8 Pro.

The Meow Wolf Experience
มุมมอง 404 หลายเดือนก่อน
As a Father's Day gift I was able to experience Meow Wolf in Grapevine, TX. The place is kind of hard to describe but it's something you should experience if you live near one. It's part art exhibit, part theme park.

I visited the Sharkarosa Zoo today and liked what I saw from it. It's near Pilot Point, TX is kind of off on its own. Anyway, the place is meant to help house endangered species of animals. Here is the link to their site if you'd like to donate. sharkarosa.com/donate/
An Earthling Visits Roswell, NM
มุมมอง 425 หลายเดือนก่อน
I was finally able to visit Roswell, NM this past week. It's a unique experience to say the least. The supposed alien crash site did not take place in Roswell. The site is actually about 20 miles north of there. If you've always wanted to go I would say you should make a trip out there. They have a UFO Festival which you might want to look into.

The Splendid Adriatica Village of McKinney
มุมมอง 415 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a glimpse of Adriatica Village in McKinney, TX. The developer who created this was inspired by the coastal areas of Croatia, hence the name, Adriatica (as in Adriatic Sea). It's a mix of residential and commercial areas. Nice to check out if you have some time.
An Homage To The Last Picture Show
มุมมอง 3926 หลายเดือนก่อน
I decided to do an homage to one of my favorite films "The Last Picture Show". The movie was filmed in Archer City, TX and released in 1971. I included some of the filming locations and different parts of the town. Toward the end of the video you'll see a house with a cracked driveway and trees in front of it. That was the house of Larry McMurtry who passed away in 2021. He is the author of The...
A Look At The San Antonio Area
มุมมอง 1356 หลายเดือนก่อน
I made a video of my recent trip to San Antonio to visit friends and family. Although the trip was to San Antonio, the opening shot is of Gruene, TX, which is outside of town. Worth a visit. The trip was a good time. Shot with a Panasonic Lumix LX-10 and Pixel 8 Pro. The song, "Don't Look Like Another Happy Day", is by Dallas native Willie Charles Gray.

Thanks for the video- was just there on a trip of our own. Also, popped across the Oklahoma border to pay my respects to Lane Frost.

Hey Isaac! What a great video showcasing the Buddhist Temple in Dallas! The diversity and culture is great. And thanks for the tips! I'd like to visit someday.
@@rickm5271 Thank you. I enjoyed my visit there.
Thank you. I'm from Dallas and have heard the name but knew nothing about it. I only knew of the Germans in central Texas.
@@avalondreaming1433 I will probably make my way back up there in the near future. They have German products in that market I showed in the video. Even Gluhwein.
I would like to go there.
Cool!❤
Hey Isaac! Great video! I haven't been to Paris Texas in a couple of decades! It's great to see again!
@@rickm5271 Thank you. The downtown is neat and has potential. They could really make it a tourist attraction.
What restaurants would you recommend from there?
@@rvalles16 Good to hear from you. I would say High Cotton Kitchen.
Thank you! Hope y’all are doing well!
Big library ,but poor selection of books. The librarian prefer feminazis, BLM, women woke authors no one heard of them. Catering to level 1 reading. As tax payers we need a real library, known authors, new books, Hoopla membership. If by chance and because a reader suggest they get a known author new book, the waiting time can be 6MONTHS! I don't know if the librarian was a political, relative chosen, but for sure it caterer to small minds.
Thanks for watching.
Winstar is a nasty dump.
Not at all, it’s actually very nice.
Wow almost sensory overload! You have to meander slow to take it all in. 😮
It is. We'll have to go again since we missed some things.
Never saw one episode. They aired on a night we couldn’t watch and didn’t have recording devices back then.
It was entertaining. A night time soap opera.
Wow! Nice!
It's pretty awesome there. I think everyone should visit it.
Beautiful place!
Thanks for watching. It's a beautiful place.
What song is this? I searched with my phone came up with nothing.
The song info is in the description.

I want to live in a small town like this. Great video and thanks for posting it.
Thanks for watching.
So glad you did this! The Last Picture Show is arguably in my top five all-time favorite movies! Sam the Lion's reminiscent monologue at the tank about the time he brought a young lady out there always gets me. I hope to see Archer City some day. Thanks so much from Canada!
I appreciate you watching it. I was out there yesterday and got my footage. I felt the song was a good fit. My next video will be Roswell, NM.

Nice. I don't understand how such a big attraction has such a dull place around it though. Looks like an unfinished construction site.
All that construction you see was there for F1’s Las Vegas race
It does. Will probably be there for a bit.
I wish you had read the inscription on Bonnie's grave. Interesting video!

WONDERING IF EXHUMED WOULD THEIR BODIES BE RIDDLED WITH BULLETS?
They were murderers who got what they deserved there’s nothing glamorous of murdering anyone especially law enforcement. The were brutal criminals who murdered kids fathers wives husbands daughters daddy’s they got everything and more on that bloody day back in the mid 1930s
Two great people and very honest people RIP. ♥️👍
@patrickferran1678 what a stupid thing to say.
This is fun Isaac! Excellent!
Thanks for watching Rick :)
You wanna see " Evil " well there they are Bonnie and Clyde they were the sons of the devil in one of their Evil Acts they killed in cold blood 2 motorcycle cops that all they did was to try to help them when they had a flat tire in their car
You should’ve got a better close-up of the gravesite
Thanks for watching :)
Wow ..a murderer with flowers on a tombstone. How pathetic!
Thanks for watching.
😢❤ they seem like a really cool people but they're really crazy like I used to be back in
😢❤ they should be missed very much so they can be very missed Monday
❤❤❤🎉🎉😢❤
Why are they not allowed to buried together
I believe Bonnie's family didn't want that so she was buried at a different cemetary.
They murdered and both family’s blamed the others
Bonnie’s mother said Clyde took Bonnie away from her while she was alive, so Bonnie’s mother wouldn’t let her be buried with Clyde. Therefore taking Bonnie from Clyde in death.
They almost turned into celebrities for killing people.. they got famous for that. Not right. Its sad.
