This channel is first and foremost to explore and discuss the joy of learning drums and music composition, with studies and diaries from my own experience and home studio. It is also a supplement to the drums lessons I have been giving in London for the best part of ten years, currently available through video calls and visits to the wonderful Hicaz studio in Hackney, hackneydrumlessons.co.uk.
The trigger to put out teaching videos was the request for a video statement about Music and Well-Being from Music-Relief of Croydon, London, a charity that provides young people in London with activities and motivation. A gigging musician who does home session recording and writing, this channel is mostly teaching resources for students.
