Hey, I am a product designer since 5 years now. I agree with you on many things, especially on the point of adaptation. But I also feel that the better thing for designers is to develop a more holistic and expansive world view - as at the EOD AI is going to be one tool like Figma, we already have those tools and addition of one more isnt a major issue here ( rememeber templates before AI came in) - as designers its an intrinsic part of our workflow to mix and match , however the soul of design the spellbounding quality of it - can only come through our own thought and work. problem is we keep on binging listicle videos like yourself learning in a linear manner but never develop a deeper insight into design (pentagram anyone?) - so to all UX designers out there - take this video with a pinch of salt. this is a listicle video and i'd recommend for you all to consume content that provides more depth to your thought process (read: pentagram, IDEO books, design documentaries et. all.) - learn to articulate better and it will take years for you to build that skill, learn from greats, please!
