You guys might say old Roblox was also just as toxic, online daters and stuff like that. But it was when the community knew kindness, majority of the people I met back then weren’t as mean as now. If you were to say the community now is better than before, that’s hilarious. I don’t remember seeing tons of toxic emos making fun of you, no hate to all the emos out there but I definitely remembered the servers I joined was full of colour and not toxic emos and furries. Even the people with headless. We’ve normalized bullying so much that you can take one look at an avatar, and immediately know how their personality just by one look. Not saying this happens every time but the amount of bullying I see on Roblox over such small things compared to back then is insane. It’s actually sad seeing how Roblox progressed over time, imagine back then joining in servers, the amount of creative and colorful avatars you saw, you weren’t anxious to make friends because back most of the time you wouldn’t just get judged straight away. It’s not about being blinded by nostalgia, it’s genuinely just missing the way the community was before. I remember my old account and friends I made, i became best friends with people by saying hello back then. I also remember this person not having robux, and walked up to a small group of people who did and asked if he could be friends and they all responded yes and they immediately started talking. If I were to do the same thing that person did, I know I would get rejected and made fun of. The last time I did this, these group of emos use shift lock or first person then like turn to each other basically giving the weird look saying, “why is this person talking to us” I honestly don’t understand why people like turn around slowly basically judging you. I miss back then.
