This is my collection of "mens" bags that i've built over the years! I put the word men in quotes because I believe accessories should never be gendered and anyone should be able to carry whatever they love! That's part of the reason I cringe when people refer to their bags with gendered pronouns, lol. I know it's a long video but @milliegalier inspired me to post my collection! I love how they look and the build quality is nearly flawless, i mean, i would hope so since they’re made by a major brand. Replica of BV
Not exactly a replica since Bottega doesn’t make that design. This version is much better quality Italian vegetable tanned leather. Bottega uses chrome tanned calfskin.
How does this glovetanned leather last? Does it get scratches easily,?
It CAN get scratched easily. But I’ve noticed that for me, the leather gets softer and wrinkles so it gets really nice after heavy use.
The Nike Calm has an all black(soles included). Super comfy

Love the look, im deciding between Tokio and London.. both are Bostons with ankle support.. love Birkenstock improved the sole so it can last longer.. what is your opinion between Tokio and London style.?
I originally considered the London! but I really liked the idea of having a bit of space at my heel.
I prefer old Coach bags, nothing like a vintage bag that still looks amazing. I have some that are over 40 yrs old

tbh, the salt on the floor spills trick works better. they're pretty slip resistant on wet surfaces, not so much on oily surfaces.

I prefer the vintage Coach. Got my first bag back in 1994, and of course it was not vintage at the time. But that raw, unlined leather is the best.

Indeed! It’s on the bottom of almost every structured Coach bag i own!

Do you feel that the vegetable tanned leather is too delicate? 😮 I’m so in love with the look but scared it might scratch way too easily
No not at all. The leather is thick and scratches rub off with the oils in your fingers. The lining, however, stains super easily! Mine got stained when i was using the Coach moisturizer and it was tricky to remove from the lining.

I’ve been reading contradictory information online regarding vegetable tanned leather conditioning, some places say not to condition because the natural oils from handling will condition and over conditioning can compromise the integrity of the bag and other websites say to condition weekly if the bag is handled frequently. I don’t know whom to believe at this point 🤷🏻♂️
I have always treated leather bags like i treat any skin. If it starts to look and feel a bit dry, I’ll moisturize. The rogue hadn’t been used in a few months and this is the second time i moisturized it. It seems like you’re seeing conflicting information because there are so many different types of leathers being used. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it, it’s not like coach bags are meant to be workhorses (although, they can be!).
@@barcostudio I’ve been specially searching for vegetables tanned leather up keeping and moisturizing and that’s where the conflicting information comes from, I own 19 rogues and I’ve recently got my first veg tan rogue a plant green 17 and I am so nervous to condition it due to the conflicting information online. With my chrome tanned rogues I am comfortable and used to conditioning it’s with veg tan that I am wary specially being new to that style of tanning. I did spray the bag with water/stain repellent and that worked out fine I am just thinking about for later down the road when it may need conditioning
@@AxelMontiel i don’t thing you should worry. A good example of veg tan that isn’t conditioned is the Louis Vuitton Neverfull. Those straps are veg tan and most people never condition them. They eventually dry out and start to crack. The good thing about the veg tan leather from Coach is that they finish the bags with a layer of wax anyway to avoid them from getting dried out. As long as you keep the bag out of direct sunlight and don’t get it wet, it should be fine!
