Pastor Bill, here are some questions for you: 1) Paul directly called the event "the resurrection of the dead" in 1 Cor 15:42-55, which is the exact same event he didn't want us ignorant about in 1 Thess 4:13-18, why is it so important to change the name from what Scripture calls it to "rapture"? 2) Being that the resurrection of the dead is an event that is throughout the Word of God... perhaps Job 14:12 is the first to mention it, why are we flat out lied to and told that Paul revealed a mystery of a rapture when 1 Cor 15:51,52 is presented, when Paul directly called the event "the resurrection of the dead 9 verses earlier? 3) Being that Job 14:12, 2 Peter 3:10, and Matt 24;35-42 all inform us that the resurrection of the dead occurs when the heavens are destroyed... How can there be 7 years of tribulation after the destruction of the heavens? 4) Being that Jesus comes like a thief in the night when the heavens are destroyed... 2 Peter 3:10 and no man knows the day or the hour that the heavens will be destroyed... Matt 24:35-42.... how can a rapture event happen 7 years prior creating a countdown to when Christ would come "like a thief in the night"? 5) If those who are martyred for not taking the mark are resurrected at the FIRST resurrection according to Rev 20:4-6.... how can a rapture/resurrection take place prior to the FIRST resurrection? 6) Why are we constantly lied to and told that no man knows the day or the hour of the rapture, when Christ was stating that no man knows the day or the hour that the heavens would be destroyed? ... Matt 24:35-42, Mark 13:31,32 7) When Peter tells us that people twist Paul's teaching on this matter as they do all of Scripture... 2 Peter 3:15-17...and then he calls them "wicked" and tells us not to fall from our own steadfastness. Why do you think he singles out Paul's teaching on this matter, and not his own, or Jesus, or Johns? What teaching of Paul's is being singled out as twisted?

Religion in the USSR was strictly controlled by the state. Russia does not have those same views. Their predominant religion is Orthodox Christianity. The decades following the fall of the USSR, many Russians either gravitated to Orthodox religion but overall many people did not have that ability as we have in the US to worship. There are Christian believers in Russia as well as Ukraine. Russians and Ukrainians are connected by culture and its people. Russia commands the largest inventory nuclear weapons in the World. Nonetheless, we are much closer to the end than we think. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.
