A permanent solution I made recently is just to use strips of foam to block the gaps, its highly porous, cheap and wont interfere with wing mirror adjustment.. over two weeks now since I did it and I've yet to see spiders or webs on my wing mirror!

Currently using Tea bags soaked with Olbas oil and a little water.

Sprays, with little residual effect, you have to see them and spray them direct, an expensive alternative to squashing the bug yourself. Better to watch exterminator content creators and use what they suggest, a three pronged attack of pro fluid, safe powders, and baits. This is the long term solution to keep them gone forever. Remember, it always starts with clean, food/water free areas.

Dude go to acehardware store or a tractor supply and buy packs of this powder called Demon. One pack should be mixed with a gallon of water and sprayed inside or outside the house wherever it's needed. It was used commercially for decades. I got a new house with roaches all over the kitchen and after two separate sprays (one month in between) they are gone. I do hvac for a living and recommend it to people all the time and I have people call and thank me all the time.
