So Jones has decided that his qb skills will better be utilized by riding the bench for the next 2 to 3 years as DJ Lagway grabs 90% of the playing time and all the headlines. His can look forward a smidgen of playing time in mop up duty for games solidly in hand. Usually a highly rated qb is looking for a program where his skills can be developed and put on display for NFL scouts. Jones roll will be to add depth to the qb room and be on standby just in case DJ has an unfortunate accident, and then only if his mangled leg heels correctly and he somehow manages to land in the #2 spot on the depth chart. Rumor has it that Norvell, aware of Jones' ongoing flirtation with Napier and UF (despite Trammel's continued insistence of being 100% sold on FSU) let the young man know that if he thought the gators were his best option, (or the money was better) well then good bye, good luck, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out!

As a Tennessee fan, I'm happy for Florida. Florida played well enough against Tennessee to win the game, but it didn't work out that way. I'm hoping this works out in the long run. Napier seems like a decent guy, and a good influence on young people. Congratulations!

Coach Billy Napier has won me over this season. Unbelievable turn around since Week 1. These players have bought into Coach and they back him 110%. He is turning this around and it's time we give him due credit. Trust in the process and trust in Billy, what a win for this program.
