He'll be waived AGAIN to Osceola because the Magic already have 15 standard contract players signed, so this whole thing is a dog and pony show like always because he's NOT competing for a roster spot- there are none- he's competing for one of 2 two way contracts which means you might play a few NBA games but you'll prob play all g league, but they'll put you on the roster because you're a 2 way player officially. He'll probably get a two way. From there he MIGHT get playing time for the Magic (kinda like Pippen Jr did last year for Memphis) or they may hold him down in the g league all year *yet again*. Playing him off ball was why he struggled. Once they put the ball in his hands he took off. He played more on ball in Golden State where he averaged 20ppg off the bench and 26ppg when he filled in for an injured Steph a third of the season his last year there. 20ppg is an underestimate bro. He did that off the bench in Golden State! Again, after the move to PG he did that last year! What is also important is the FO seems to love him. He's become a vet to to the younger players. We know he and Bilal are close, but did you know that Alex Sarr has been out in California with Poole since the end of SL and has been working out with Poole's shooting coach Packie Turner. They just completed a mini camp together with other stars that train with Packie, like Grady Dick, Amen Thompson and Jalen Williams. Jordan Poole will be just fine and I know that next season (now that the Wizards know how to play him according to his strengths) you'll see what we all saw at Golden State! Mexico City, from a player standpoint, has fantastic restaurants. Mexico City has more top 50 restaurants in the WORLD than any US city, including NYC. As for safety, Mexico City's murder rate is lower than 23 of the 30 NBA cities in the NBA so serious crime is not an issue. For example, the murder rate in Memphis, Detroit, Cleveland, and Philadelphia is 8 to 9 times the rate of Mexico City. Mexico City already has a G-league team and is among the top in attendance. Expanding to Mexico opens the market to 133 million Mexicans and is a doorway to the rest of Latin America. Mexico City is only under 4 hours and 40 minutes by plane to NYC and 4 hours to LA, so distance isn't a problem. As for altitude, the NBA has played over 30 NBA exhibition and regular season games there over the last 20 years (NBA wouldn't play that many games there IF NO INTEREST) without altitude being an issue for players in those games, including the present G-league team. I have visited Mexico City 3 times for work, and altitude was never an issue. I am no athlete, so NBA players should have ZERO issues dealing with altitude (as players in the G-league). Minneapolis has been begging to move to the central division with Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit and Cleveland. All 5 Central Division teams are closer to Minneapolis than ANY Western Conference team, which is Oklahoma City. So Vegas and Seattle can enter the NBA with 16 in the west and 16 in the east. Maybe 4 divisions of 8 teams like the NHL. As for new teams, Adam Silver has continously said one in Mexico City and more in Canada. When the NBA expands from 32 to 36, which might be before 2036, then Mexico City, Montreal OR Vancouver and two more American markets (i.e., St. Louis, San Diego, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Kansas City ....)
