One question - I've never fished Swansea Bay but planning to take my boat for Welsh spin next Spring, so can you easily catch there mackerell, bream, big pollack, bass or maybe turbot on sandbanks or mostly topes or rays? Any reefs or wrecks around there? All the best from Dorset

Fast tide there and it comes at you from all over the place there are warning signs all over the place but obviously these two knew better. You can see the rips and hatch markings not a good place to be many people how drowned there over the years. Used to be a nice pub there right on the beach almost. Captain's Wife? I am sure someone will remember the name.

Wow, very dangerous place….We see rip currents galore! and also the ‘dangerous’ infamous ‘square waves’ …. Square waves can be found out in the open ocean as well as near the coast, and are formed by waves moving in opposite directions. This happens when two separate weather systems collide. The waves then create a chequerboard affect on the sea, with a grid system of squares on the surface. If you see these square formations in the water get out and don’t go in! 🚩🚩🚩🚩 They look gentle from above, but are actually similar to rip tides, which are extremely hard to escape from and sometimes not easy to see at eye level on the beach.

fished at st christophers a few weeks ago for hounds , crab was definitely the way to go that day , the doggies left the hardbacks alone

How did the boat in distress get hold of the costguard without it being broadcast on your radio? I often hear the coastguard asking for assistance but i never hear the help being called by the actual boat in yhe first place

is it problem to berthing a boat in marina? in Cornwall you must add to waiting list....and waiting and waiting for .....

how far you go from marina?
