Whooohoooo!! Great work guys!!
wow looks great
Inspired by Unreal Engine's Blueprint Editor? This is EPIC!
I actually cant wait to see this in action
Okay I watched the whole video but still don't know what Bricksforge in general is
❤
Man, i'm 16 seconds in and already blown away. a node editor for visual scripting complex things? hell yeah! You are AWESOME
Exciting!!
So stunning! 🎉 I'm looking forward to discovering the new features and making more tutorials about them!
Truly excited! But.. One of the MOST powerful, exclusive and innovative plugins ever.. and you don't showcase the features? C'mon devs we need vids / tutorials, for goodness sake you guys pulled of a node based editor!! WOW!
Did you change the way all interactions were displayed? Because I have a site with many pages and on each one I had a couple of interactions. The problem is that on all the pages where I opened Bricksforge, I get the list of ALL the interactions from other pages. It gets very complicated this way. Isn't it better that each interaction created appears only on the page where it was created?
Awesome job!
keep up the good job like this !
I absolutely love this update! Huge fan of node based editors in general!
Good stuff! Welldone!
Interesting, though the animations part isn't stable sometimes.
Amazing stuff, keep up the awesome work. Can't wait to explore these and to create new tutorials!
Trying not to be negative but the reality is a two minute video highlighting with music doesn't really help much. A thorough run through of practical applications of the software would be much more helpful. If you want the software to be utilized by more than developers, lengthy, hands on, practical, get things done videos would be the way to go, and would expand the user base IMHO!
Yep, I would also love to see some real use cases. I know "your creativity is the limit" but thats problem, some arent creative. Since I bought BF I have never used it on any project, just on local dev sites. I remember when I tried to create a multi step form, it was so hard I had to go through the forum, the docs and facebook posts just to get an idea of how this works, so I went with WSForm instead. Same with the animations, pretty sure you can do some amazing stuff, but HOW? And when/where to use it? I'm sure its an amazing plugin, but we need more practical examples/use cases.
relax its introduction i think will be later some sort tutorial.
There's BricksForge Academy where tutorials will be/have been published.
thanks for the overview - would be great to see more specific examples of how to use this so that we get to know it's capabilities
Looks awesome!! What an upgrade!
This is amazing! Hope we can have some tutorials to create basic timelines like fades, staggered, etc🎉
I tried clicking "like" multiple times but only got one. Great stuff, keep it up!
All I can think about while watching this is thank God I bought the LTD! I know what I'm geeking out on next
Oh, thanks Jeffrey! :) If you have any questions while exploring, just get in touch :)
Fantastic tool, thank you. More practical examples please! They really help me to learn how and realise more ways to use Bricksforge.
Awesome! Is there also a way to organize these nodes on a bigger project where you might have multiple Nodes all flying around?
Basically, the canvas offers you more than enough space to organize your nodes. There is also a function planned, similar to Unreal Blueprints, to organize a stack of nodes into a group and add a comment :)
Wow awesome stuff! Would love to see some more examples to show what else this is capable of!
Amazing! Love to explore this. Using the Javascript code we could hook up an external API as well right? Only problem would be the publicly viewable key. How would you solve that?
Hey Lex! Great to see you here :) You could also call external API's, yes. In that case, personally, I would use the Node Action "Call Ajax Function". This will trigger a custom php function you can define in your code. From there, you can communicate with the external API from your server securely. Nonce checking will be added automatically here as a starter layer of security :)
@@bricksforge oooow, I see an opportunity! Still need to code to do the call though. I got an experiment in mind :D
Awesome 🤩 Looks a lot like Nowa's circuit to build flows visuallu in Flutter, good job!! 🙏🏽
Can we get a video about all the new Pro Form features.. like the new upload field and live variables?
Great job!
Outstanding work as usual. Thanks Daniele & team!
Thanks Brendan! :)
This is very very impressive! How in the world were you guys able to bring node based editing into WP / Bricks... phenomenal!
Ja, bitte komm jetzt zu Bridge Builders und präsentiere es. Vielleicht sogar auf Deutsch als Kompromiss, und es kann von TH-cam für die englischen Zuhörer übersetzt werden.
This would be great to see!
Very impressive UI!
Thanks for this. Now we can learn and use it better and much clearer with visual coding. Impressive. Also like the example at the end of the video which is a real use case that we can use in many projects. Hope to see more videos of such use cases too in the future.
Oh boy, this is a game changer for Bricks!
Has this been rolled out as yet?
It has been released as BETA one week ago. The final release will be later this month :)
Impressive, it would be great if you could create more videos in order to 100% understand this powerful tool!
Nice! Thank you for this. I now have a better understanding of how the conditions work.
This is great! How did you set the variable (0 / 1 for the video)?
@@markpeters2254 on the fly as third action node „Update Global Variable“. If not exists, this action will declare it 😊
This for me is a much cleaner way to work. One question though, can we use GSAP with the node editor?
@@kelwinsj yes, there are GSAP related actions like „GSAP To“. Also, you can play a specific timeline which you create with the animation panel separately 😊
@@bricksforge Thank you. This makes it even better. The one thing that I keep running into an issue with is other plugin support with page transitions. This has made me disable it from all but the most basic of my sites. If only there was a way of excluding certain pages, or having some pages re-render will all JS code... wishful thinking.
@@kelwinsj Take a look at this plugin, it is from a seasoned plugin dev and is in the WP repo, free. At first glance you'll think all it does is organize plugins.. BUT, dont let that fool you. It does a few very unique things! For one, you can PER plugin control when and where EVERY plugin is active on ANY page! There are plugins (js code) from WP and plugins that run on pages that there is no need for! Or maybe you ONLY need a plugin or code to run on a single page or two, ONLY! While normally that plugin is running on all forward facing sites! You can control that easily. But here is where I use this plugin the most.. and in reference to what you said. You can set the "order" in which ALL plugins load there code, per page or whole site! So in essence, you could easily have your page transitions code 'specifically' load before the conflicting js from what you mentioned. Try it out, it's help me many many times not have to juggle js / conflicts / etc. simply by adjusting what plugins load and more importantly when they load. It says it's out dated, but it works just fine as of the latest WP today.
Having such a huge community, strange that videos are like this, no audio, explanation. Would you like to hire someone to make videos for you?
What coding and where did you learn your skills to develop this tool?
So forms and animation? I believe we would need advanced themer with this/
next level bro next level
Fuck!!!!!!!!!! it's on a whole another level..... why is this so under-rated, wtf how there isn't some full 10 hours of courses on just this plugin in yt..... how the fuck people doesn't know about this diamond
This is not working. I even try the recommendations on this forum, but doesn't work either. Please do not keep a deprecated tutorial, guys. Eliminate it or update its content.
not working the JS code is not working actually
When I create an event using the slide events, it asks for the Bricks ID of the slider. Because it can only use a unique ID, if I have other pages that use the same slide with same animations, I have to copy the custom event so I can put in the different ID. Can the selector just be a normal class selector like regular timelines use? Why force me to use an ID, which makes it impossible to have global or re-usable sliders? And I already tried setting a custom ID in the Bricks CSS panel to match with my other slides, but Forge won't recognize when I use a custom ID and says no slide is found with that ID. This makes it really hard to simply clone a page and have the same slider on it, because all the animations break due to the selector of ID only.
@@vigilantezack The slider ID has nothing to do with selectors. It’s the ID of the splide instance. Once created, it will always be statically saved in the bricksData object. A class or a dom node would make no sense here, as they are not holding the id of the instance.
@@bricksforge Thanks. This isn't the way Forge presents the field, it does say "Slider ID", not "Splide ID". And the little info bubble says "Slider ID without prefixes". Again, not "Splide ID", but "Slider ID", and why say "without prefixes"? Do Splide IDs have prefixes? It obviously sounds like it's asking for the normal DOM ID of the Slider element. Maybe this could be worded better? But that leaves the same issue. If I have a hero slider on a lot of pages, I can't clone pages or copy the slider because I have to copy and set a new ID on every single instance. I know there could be potential bugs using the same ID on a slider across multiple pages, but it seems like something that makes sense. I want to be able to just copy a slider or copy a page and have that slider work right away without having to fudge around with animations again because they break every time it's copied. That makes it especially hard for end users who want to clone pages and update them. Why can't we set a custom ID and have the bricksData object reset? If that's not possible, then Forge needs a way to link the Splide ID back to the actual Slider element we're using so that it can be copied. If not that, then perhaps allow us to create customized Splide and DOM IDs that are static and belong to that slider no matter where we copy it. Or maybe there is some other way to solve this?
@@vigilantezack We have tried to make this easier to understand for beginners. Bricks always creates the splide ID based on the element ID. If the element is #brxe-1234, Bricks creates a splide instance 1234. However, if the ID is changed, Bricks does not change the ID of the splide instance. This is not usually necessary. We also don't want to interfere with the Bricks Logic, as this can have negative side effects. Bricksforge does everything it is supposed to do here. It expects a splide ID to know on which slider instance the action should be executed. How to minimize the effort when migrating pages is outside the Bricksforge scope. CSS classes do not help here.
Wait what!!!!! I dont have to build in Webflow anymore. This rocks! Thank you Bricksforge! Looking forward to diving in!
