brand new dozer in 2015 we had a D60 p she was a great dozer back in the 1970s she had a Cummins 220 engine , never gave up it just kept pushing

The dozer is nice but a 140 g would do the finish in half the time

Just wearing out tracks for no reason, why not use a grader, no track wear, only thing wearing is the cutting edge, tyres don't wear out like tracks do on that sort of going.

There is more to the story than just performance. Parts availability. Aftermarket options. What computer is needed to scan machine? Will mechanics have it on service trucks? Which one is easier to work on? Long term reliability. Resell. Will the cat final drive outlast the Komatsu? Idk. I guess Komatsu has segmented sprockets? Someone give their thoughts?

Obviously KOMATSU will aim to build to out perform CAT !, but both GREAT Machines!!, CAT sounds better though !!

The 61 and 65 have 2 more power levels. E- economy, P- power, then secret codes to put in and get to it. H- heavy, W- winch mode. They did it for better stats on fuel and emissions. I've seen it the 65 will out run and put push a d6, at least the -23s and -24s

There aren't so many operators around who can truly use one of these with a 4-in-1 properly. Besides, 360's and machine control are more efficient in most cases these days. Even so, I'd still rather jump on one of these things any day - you need real skill.
