Surprised how.will little loader pushed that big of plow. Be curious to see in deeper snow!
Are the gray extensions on the wing tips an add on or stock? We just got an 8-13 plow looks the same as yours minus those little extension tips
How may horse does this system last?
Why don’t they make this kind of steering anymore?
Pless The Best in the West !
I go to this school :D
RESCUE GREEN FOR THE WIN.
Why do u snow blow the edges?
Just subscribed!
I see it all spilling to the left side??
Nothin runs like a john deer
talk about the right tool for the job!
their bill is going to go up a shit ton when that place gets built up and you can't push it out into an empty field.
what a good snow day
This Guy is a great cameraman! Great work. Congratulations from Brasil.
Thank you!
It also leaves a 2ft wide strip in the middle why is that I think your angles wrong I think you have a tilted too far forward if you wanted to roll snow you can have it tilted forward in other words the front the top of the plow out bottom in you have it too far like that try to put your top of the plow in curl it into you a little bit
Those are tire tracks, not the angle of the blade. Its from driving in first and dropping the blade to backdrag. As mentioned earlier. This is fine with the HOA and we never get complaints. They are so happy to have the snow removed in a timely manor they understand there are some compromises.
That's all nice when there's no cars around or none in the street either put up one of those videos where it's congested a little bit even just a little bit of cars let's see what happens then LOL I run a 25-footer we extended it a little
They are not permitted to park in the street or the driveways. Never a problem.
bahahah Shawn, you really showed him!!
You can see a car in one of the driveways, residentials are such a pain in the ass
Do you have a Idea on how much they cost new?
3700 out the door is what our newest one cost. Not cheap, but really well built.
@@timscrawler thanks I been looking for one for a while but I'm in the middle do I get a pull plow for my truck or the box plow for the skidsteer
Would like to see how it functions in a snowfall instead of this dusting.... :--()
It does well for the most part. I have had issues with 10" + wet heavy snow, but it still is the best option.
@@timscrawler what issues are you having with wet snow
@@GardenViewLawncare It just has traction problems when the snow is heavy and wet. I would love to have some snow tires on the 244! I have them on our Bobcat and its a game changer. Its still amazing and we love it.
@@timscrawler great to know I use tracks and snow tires on my skids but would like to try a wheel loader as we have a lot of sites close by. How fast can it go down the street
@@GardenViewLawncare on flat ground it will do about 15, any hills will drop it down to 8-9mph. its slow but steady. haha.
To much down angle on the plow mounting bracket
Great! Snow removal in Japan is also amazing. Please watch it.
they make you register the loader? bunch of baloney. here you only need to be 16 years old
I see you dont have a live edge on your MP, is there a reason you didnt get one?
It was just an added expense that we did not feel the need for. We get a lot of sun shine here in Colorado and felt that this edge would be fine. Its great, and we feel good about our choice. Works amazing.
how do you like this machine for pushing snow? thinking about picking one up for doing residential drives. Id probably be using just a straight blade maybe a snow bucket
It does fine for up to about 4" with this box. After that, its too much for the machine. However, a straight blade would be great. Its a nice little machine.
Why is everyone so concerned about the tire tracks? Who cares? They're 1/8" thick and gone as soon as the snow melts. I feel like the one complaining here, have never plowed for a living. Looks great! Thought about switching to inverted blower/ tractor. But this may have changed my mind. Very efficient!
Nice machine!
Logo ich der schwapelgemsprofi 🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🕶🕶⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽
Nice job very efficient
Here's a suggestion - MetalPless has a back-blade attachment for the rear, you could reverse into the driveway and drop the blade before you pull out - leaving no strips behind...just use the front blade for pushing :)
Lots of you guys are concerned with the tires leaving strips on the driveways. Its a non issue for us and our customers. In Colorado, we get tons of sunshine and most storms are gone as fast as they come in. The day I shot this video, the high for the day was 3 degrees and yet the sun was out and the snow was almost completely gone by evening. A few strips of packed down snow are not really anyones concerns. I understand that some of them are in the shade and don't see sun, but they tend to melt off pretty fast too. However, I do appreciate all the good ideas as to how to avoid them. We just don't feel the need to invest (more then we already have) into something that will not leave those. And, before the 16' MP we were doing it with truck plows leaving twice as many strips. :)
yeah, its really not a concern. productivity at its best. you tell me what isnt goin to leave tire tracks? people sittin around watching these vids with alot to say. they aint sayin nothing. just a lot of garb.
If he has a back-blade and backs into the driveway, he will still get those two strips of snow packed down by the tires. He said that HOA is okay with it and no complaints. He does this for a living. Have you ever plowed snow Sara?
Несомненно отвал хорош, производительная уборка снега получается...100+++
fly in and plow. you will not leave them press down snow tire trac. Bull Elk #6
I don't worry about those too much. We get tons of sun here, they are usually gone by noon. We have never had a complaint in over 15 years of service.
yeah, its not a big deal. sun burns them off or its doesnt .. no big deal.
I jest don't get it every time you guys leave bare pavement other than 2 strips of packed down snow from wheels plow in raise plow at garage then back drag
no. hes doing fine. its commercial snow removal at its finest. that's what you get.
Why do they leave the little strip of snow between driveways is that grass or is it concrete
They have gravel between the 16' driveways.
Gravel between driveways with seasonal color plants.
What kind of tires are you running on that machine?
Not sure, Ill check and get back to you.
...2 years later....
Perfect video for all the skeptics who think the 244 can't handle that big of a blade!!! Haha laugh your way to the bank!
This thing has delivered all it was advertised and more. Amazing machine and plow.
How wide is that? 12?
10 foot blade, 3 foot wings for a total of 16 foot wide.@@kobsroberrsservices4686
Which model is that? Looking at one for next year and considering a Deere 244 as well. Wondering how it handles that size of blade. I saw another guy running a 1016 and says it's great other than the deepest of snowfalls where he has to run one or both wings back
This is a 2008 244J with a Metal Pless 10-16 plow. I think this is the perfect setup for this machine. I could see it having to work harder if we had a foot of heavy wet snow. However, its too easy to just put the wings back and do more wind rowing. Very simple fix during a big snow. For anything but the big heavy stuff this machine will plow with 16' all day.
I could watch this all day.
I know me too. I don't know why but I love it
That must be fun to use to move snow. Much more efficient than a truck and plow
Way better then a truck IMO.
Tim Stevens I'd kill to have some equipment like that. Everything except parking lots is done by truck and plows around here
We use these with our 924's and our 908's. Eliminating pickups and bobcat
Sehr schön!!
Danke :)
Its amazing. Most productive plow I have ever seen.
how u liking it ? how do u like the combo?
what are you using to do that.
What kind of lift u have and tires
How does it do in the snow?
Looks like fun. KOH would be great to witness. Good luck with the race!
