My Rough Country bumper was replaced once under warranty and within months the finish on the replacement was failing catastrophically. More money sunk but a SOLID fix.

So I have a rather simple/silly question! When you turn the vehicle on and the DRLs are on/running, is there an option to change the color of the little red arrow accents? On one of the sites selling these lights they were blue instead..had it like you could choose red or blue!? Just curious!
If you’re in a Sport you need to turn headlights on to get the DRL. OVS contacted me and asked if I would do a video for a color changing version, I declined, only because I have no interest for my rig. I’m still running these btw.
Ooh ok thank you! I found a color changing version on Amazon. Hopefully they work well and are a good brand.
Is this headlight led buld replaceable? Or.once the main bulb is bad do i need to replace the whole thing?
It’s an LED. In theory they run thousands of hours, close to the life of the vehicle. To directly answer your question the housing is sealed so nothing serviceable.
I need whats in the second box for sure, i have the exact same lights. I went to AA Lab and could not find it, any idea?
They appear to no longer be on the website. It’s a shame. Quadratec has a DRL harness but it does not have turn signals, you would have to tap/modify it to get the switchbacks working.

Try calling American Adventure Lab, they don’t appear to be on the website right now
Man harness adaptors would have been a blessing i had to make all plug and play from scratch when i added switch backs on front and vent light 😱
So what exactly does the AAL harness keep you from doing?
You don’t need to cut or use vampire clips to access the wires for your turn signals or DRL
I cant find a single video showing how to connect the 4 yellow wires it comes with to my jeep jlu sport.
If you didn’t buy an adapter harness kit go to the 3:10 mark to find the connector inside your wheel well. You can tap into the factory wires there. I believe white/green wire is turn signal on both sides.
Does it have adjustment?
Yes, you can change it during install. Go to the 1:40 in the video
Probably the worst design ever
I haven’t had any issues with it and it’s been an improvement. Did you find a better option? A big driver for me was the aesthetic on this one but I’m always looking for the next best thing.
So i bought the wire harness you recommended and watched the video about a dozen times. You hook the red to the white as shown for drl but where does the black and yello connect to? Plus i have the blue wire remainingon the harness supplied with the headlights. Thank you so much
Btw i am installing these on my 23 gladiator rubicon
For Rubicon yellow=turn signals, red=DRL. Mine is a sport S, wiring slightly different. Black is ground, not needed in this case.
I installed them and now have a flicker on the passenger headlight. When i turn on low beams it flickers like crazy and the drl turns off and wint come back on even when low beams are turned back off. I have tonturn the jeep off then back on for the drl to work again and they work just fine as long as i dont turn low or highs on. Going to have to return these i think@@myjeepadventure

Very nice video I just installed mine did your headlights come with an extra blue wire and if so, was that your turn signal wire?
There are two wires off back of the headlight outside of the factory connector, one is power for DRL and the other is the turn signal. Check the install paper for wire colors.

I already installed them and I have problems when I left them in automatic mode the directionals do not make the correct movement

What does the blue wire connect too on the headlight harness? I’m having issues getting the halos to run while headlamp is on and turn signal on halos aren’t activating
In Sport models the halos need to be on. Turn signals don’t run without halo.
I almost bought my front bumper for RC, but someone told me that some stuff they sell tend to corroded way faster and the suspension are not quite good! That’s why I’m not buying from them right now!
Is this a sport model? The description for the harness on the website says the pin out is slightly different for sport models
My rig is a Spot-S (‘20)
Couple of vamp clamps to tap in the turn signals and extra wire worked just fine with me without having to buy extra harnesses. But you do you 🤷🏻♂️
Absolutely a fine solution, I just hate vamp clamps! 😃
I bought mine from Amazon as well but it was a different brand. Mine didn't come with instructions or the connection to go online to the blinkers. I hate linking into my jeep wires. But have no other options.
