What problem does this solve exactly? I've had no issues with the stock fuel setup on a '96 with over 200k mi
Not sure what it does alone but combined with a regulated return setup itll clear up space in the valley for easy maintenance and additional mods plus solving the #8 injector starvation and allowing them all to wear evently
How did you get the display for your engine on your monitor?
What did you do with the fuel bowl wiring harness ??
Cut out everything from the harness but the IPR valve connection.
What kit should I buy?
I got mine installed, but how do i fine tune the fuel pressure? Its "bouncing" between 50 and 80. Is it estimated in the middle or the highest mark?
Definitely need an oil damped pressure gauge !

Using Teflon tape in fuel system can be a risky endeavor. It can end up breaking down and plugging injectors. I’m sure it has and can be done successfully, but one recommendation I have is using gasoila thread sealant made specifically for fuel and oil systems. Riff raff diesel sells it with their FRx and HPO crossover systems.
That might be the case for gasoline systems that run a caustic fuel. Diesel is not a very caustic fuel, so he’s ok running normal Teflon tape, just not on the unfiltered side so it won’t clog ur injectors.

Just so everyone knows, You should NEVER leave anything pluged into your ODB Port. ALOT of Mechanics will tell you this. Think about it for a Sec, if a device you have plugged into your OBD ever goes bad and shorts out internally it has the potential os shorting out or damaging you computer. I know this is a nice conveniance BUT there is alway the possability. Perfect example is the Uploaders 1st OBD reader causing problems with the truck running.
Same risk as the computer shorting it self out
@@jakesmith6337 Not Necessarily, These OBD Tools (weather they are readers, Insurance OBDs, or whatever the case) are mostly made from 3rd party companies that have NO affiliation with the Auto makers and their OEM part. You really don’t know how or where the OBD device was made. I 100% guarantee if someone tried a Warrantee claim and the dealership knew that a OBD device was plugged into the OBD Port they would not honor the claim. You do You, but it is a VERY Bad idea to leave any OBD Device plugged into the OBD Port.
