24 hours on the Sun starting at 2012/08/31 1200 GMT in 304 Å ultraviolet light, the wavelength of doubly ionized helium. The exciting part starts about 24 seconds in, when a coronal mass ejection (CME) erupts. This is the first of 3 EUV channels for a color video project I am working on, which will be posted here when complete. It will be a while. ;)

From 4 to 18 July 2012 during the waning days of the last Solar maximum, Active Region 1520 marched across the Sun popping off X-Class flares. While none of these can be seen at visible wavelengths against the brilliant light of the Sun, the intense sunspots that caused them certainly can. There are a few gaps at the start and a 5 hour gap in data from 2012/07/10 1424 to 1924 at about 17 second...
