Guys guys. What do you really expect. Why are you all suprised what the police did? Do you really think that the govt will let you guys go to statehouse to remove the president. Honestly. No president will allow that and they will use the full force of the law. Jameni this is still Kenya. The govt will do what they think they should do regardless of what clause of the law they break. . Thats the reailty. We have not reached that level of democracy whereby the govt will follow the rule of law to the book. If you say ruto must go on nane nane do you think ruto will be sitting at statehouse with doors wide open? would you if you were ruto or any president? Infact ruto was mocking you guys. He was swearing in the new CS's and recieved a US delegation. It was business as usual for him. And then went on his usual charm campaign tours to secure his second term. While we ring our hands on how bad the govt is. Nothing will come easy. Nothing will be given to you easy you have to work for it. It may even take yrs thats how things change. Ghandi and King the civil rights leaders knew they will have to push for a long time even after they leave earth and a new generation take over but in the meantime they took the wins they could and set the foundation to let other generations continue with the fight till today. So the question is what is GENZ planning to do because come 2027 you will be shocked Ruto will win even in a landslide WHY? because GENZ have chosen to protest as their only tool to get to power or have this halucination that the constitution has laid out the law to follow when they get ruto out of power. Honestly this is becoming like a big joke. Even your parents are asking; you got finance bill removed, now u want ruto to leave. How exactly are u going to do that and then what after that. Your parents are still conservative and dont want instability and woud rather have ruto than anarchy. Instead of organizing yourselves into a politcal force and remove ruto through the ballot in 2027 thats the only way you will get the change that you seek. How many have ID and voting cards. We need at least 15m genz and millenials to defeat ruto. So how are we preparing to do that. How are we convincing rural folk where the votes are to vote ruto out while ruto right now is on his campaign charm. No one is doing civic education across the country to inform rural folk on why they should not vote ruto. So please stop lamenting on how the govt and police are bad lets come togather and start preparing for 2027 at the same time hold the govt to acount across all sectors. Infact am suprised the police were not that violent this time around they just placed themselves strategically and outsmarted you guys. Its time to rethink everything. Get ready for 2027 now before you get caught with your pants down and come back on spaces lamenting how this and that, how the election was stolen without even organizing yourselves. Right now the movement is seen as a nairobi elitist affair. The votes are in rural areas where we ned to be. But eveyone is in Nairobi and focused on Nairobi. Wake Up GENZ

The guy from Africa center is making alot of sense. the problem with GENZ is they have young folk who are used to getting tings done now. But removing someone from power does not come easy and this is reality. 20yrs from now GENZ will be saying we were too ambitious then we wanted things now and failed on the basics of organizing ourselves into a politcal force. yes negotiating and brining our issues to the table and getting some wins, we may not get evrything but we continue to organize into a party to get power and make changes we want.

Let me take a different view on Dialogue. What if we say we will dialogue but this time it will be different it will be called Dialogue, Timelines and Implementation. Why i say this is because when two protagonists (Govt VS GENZ) go to the table, the one calling for dialogue wants to dilaogue because the other party has a strong hand. In this case GENZ would be going to the table with a strong hand. infact the reason the govt is calling for dialogue is because of GENZ. Dialogue will only happen if there are timelines for implementation on what has been dialogued on. There are things that can be implemented immediatley, short term within months and others medium term within less than a year like matters to do with the constitution specifically reducing govt size like counties. Do we need 47 counties, 47 governors and deputies? Since GENZ have a strong hand they can demand and start picking gains they already have and put them in the pocket and go for more gains and secure those bit by bit. People like to see results. This is not to say we will not continue holding the govt to account, organize ourselves into a second force come 2027. We can do this as we dialogue and get things implemented. In Railas speech he said everything is on the table including revisiting the constitution which was bastardized and interfered with by Mps at Naivasha when Mps started mutilating it by adding provisions that benefited them like having more consituencies which increased the number of MPS reason why we are over represented putting a huge burden on tax payers and these savings can go to health, education, police welfare, also MPS added unecessary provisions on the fight against corruption by weakening it by creating loopholes. For example why do we need court injunctions? Thats one provision should be removed reason why defendants never see a court room because this delays cases. We can go back to the original draft that called for leaner govt from county to national govt, less constituencies and tougher corruption laws. Imagine GENZ, even the overhaul or amendments to the constitution is on the table something no one could have even thought of thanks to your efforts. This will be a hard fight but we need people on our side and to say the truth Raila still has sway and he could be of tremendous benefit. Yes we know he has lost trust but at least we must try. Remember he too has a legacy to preserve because it has been dented. We will need people like Kibwana, Mutunga and Ekuru aukot who were involved in drafting the constitution to give guidance. Hope we can have them on Xspaces for them to give input on what changes they would suggest needs changing or adding. Not many govts are willing to come to the table and would rather maintain hard line stances but lets give this dialogue a try with set conditions but not throw away the baby with the birth water. There are so many issues that different interest groups have from teachers, nurses, doctors, business people, Education, health systems, budget, debt, auditor general reports which luck enforcement mechanisms etc. Look at the broader picture. Lets not make these efforts all for nothing. Those who died, died for change. No better way to honor their sacrifices than making change. Lets move the needle forward as opposed to hardline stances whereby in the end we get nothiong and more deaths. There comes a time when protests have diminishing returns and protest fatigue sets in as people start going back to their daily lives to make a living. We also have to think of the current lives we disrupt when we protest. Our parents too have to make a living to bput food on our table and a roof over our heads. lets use protests wisely and strategically. Even our protogonsists live in Kenya but we can change Kenya for good if we think broader as we make change. Change never comes easy; We may not get all that we demand, those changes we dont get , we can wait till we get a govt Kenyans want.

Politicians unite for one cause.To mainatin power come 2027. GENZ are divided on what Next. tear people down those who have different opinions. Do not want to do the hard work of orgainizing into a political force. Do not want anyone to be a leader or leaders. Mistrust one another. Wnat to remain faceless leaders because they fear anyone who is seen as a leader will be compromised. Kick out anyone with a contrary opinion (Kairo). You can not be an official oposition and remian faceless. There are those who are out there and are not scared speaking out and these are the people who should be the leaders. But GENZ do not want someone outshining them and they will pull him or her down. They would rather lead on xspaces. Xspaces are good for ideas, discussing issues but we need leaders on the ground where the people are telling them of our agenda. We need GENZ's in all counties doing Civic education yes getting ready for the election of 2027. Nothing comes easy. The easiets things are protests but orgainizing into a politcal force is where the hard work comes and no one seems to want to do that. We ight as well watch Ruto come back to power come 2027 and the system will last for another 100yrs. the real power is at the grassroots thats where the votes are. Now we should be having civic education at the grassroots, ensuring you have a voting card and ID. Ruto is already getting ready for 2027. He has aligned his campaign machinery. What are we doing to counter that. Portests at some point have diminishing returns. They take us away from doing the work of orgainizing into a politcal force. Without power we have nothing nothing. Expecting these people to change because of protests it aint going to happen. All it does is embolden them. Ruto feels emboldened now that he has ODM on his side. What do we have? we have the numbers but we are not on the same page and this will be our undoing. Already people are pilling off and saying let me go do my own things until GENZ get their act togather.

We need to come to terms that the Presidency will not be handed to us on a silver platter. Ruto is not going to resign no matter how many times we hit the streets. Even if the economy faulters he will not leave nor will he suffer its us. Even if he leaves, the system remains, the polticial establishment will be intact. All arms of govt will still remain. Right now Ruto has comfort in that there is no opposition and we are literally a one party state. What to do. Our only and biggest weapon is our numbers. We need to harness these numbers into somethng tangible and yes for 2027. We need to start orgainizing now. We can lament all we want on X spaces and other forums but thats a distraction from the big picture. The topic on every xspace is how do we get ready for 2027. because without control of govt we have Nothing Nothing. We can not leave it to the goodwill and goodfaith of legislators to do the right thing even with threats. Lets focus on one thing at a time. Action Plan 1. ID and Voting cards-Every GENZ and Millenial needs an ID and Voting card. We need to start now and pressure the govt to make it easier to get one or we go to the streets. Lets now wait last minute for the govt to say we are so overhwelmed with applications we can not handle all. Machines are not working or broken AKA the passport issues. 2. Civic education-We have GENZ's in every county. We need a civic education booklet on good leadership. Just like we have the constitution the booklet will be our constitution. Have it on your mobile phones too. Counties are where we elect MCA's MpS, Senators and President. We need to educate our parents and all others on what good leadership is all about. Just because one of your own is in govt it does not mean you will benefit. they only benefit individuals and their families. Give examples in your counties why that raod, hosptial is not built or does not have drugs. 3. We need to come up with a comprehensive manifesto of what type of govt we want. Touching on every sector of the economy and govt. The civil service, parstatals and all other govt functions. From size of legistlators from National assembly to MCAs. Salaries etc. plus savings and where these savings can be applied to. Also figures on how to fund programs and where the funds will come from i.e free education, affordable health, housing etc. EKuru Aukot had good ideas during his punguza Muzigo initiative.

The bigest weapon we need to bring change is an ID and voting card. Guys to say the truth nothing will change until we get into power. And it will take going to the ballot and voting. So we need to start orgainizing as a politcal force. We need to start doing the hard work of orgainizing into a politcal force and this is what the govt fears. But referundums, and all all manner of ways to remove the govt is really not going to work. Lets put our energies in forming GENZ chapters throughout the country in every county. Civic education at the grassroots where the votes are. Lamenting on xspaces without an action plan or complaining how bad the govt is will not work.
