Get more sound out of your S1000R | Servo Removal
Looking to get more sound out of your 3rd gen S1000R or S1000rr? This video shows you how to remove your Servo cables and keep the exhaust valve open. This makes the bike have a deeper throatier sound below 6K RPM. Plus it's free!

How does it goes after removing the servo? Any changes on the torque or gas consumption?
No error code ?
No error code at all
Hello, Which slipon is that? Sounds good!
TITANIUM GP-S1 SLIP-ON GP EXHAUST from Prorace
Hi ,does it void warranty.?,thanks.
Ditto… !???
Thanks man. I was always wondering why I hear louder exhaust in cold start and after a min or so it became more silent. It seems this valve is somehow designed to lower air pressure and it's getting activated while warming up. Is it not enough to just disconnect instead of removing all harnesses?
It's 100% noise reduction, nothing else. You could leave the stuff in the bike, but the cables would flop around.
Is this the same for the older years? I have a 2017 🤔
It's similar
So you don't actually need a servo buddy? Just put it back without the cables and there's no fault code?
Nope you don't need a servo buddy. There are no codes.
Love the decal change! I am debating on changing mine as well! Thank you for the info on the servo, was hesitant on doing it because of vibrations but it seems like the valve spring is strong enough to not cause issues.
Thanks!
what is that mounted to your passenger peg spot? obviously gopro mount but who makes it?
Evotech. I have a Sato helmet lock on the left side also
