i agree with you, the creature designs are the best parts of this game's art, sure the dongs pop out more but when you focus more on the characters themselves, the game feels unique, like something we haven't seen before. maybe something we weren't meant to see.

"Black souls" is pretty similar to this game, it's an RPG horror game, the game has a unique art style (which I love!) and a dark setting. if you're going to play the game, TURN OFF CARNAL ACTS, I don't care if you're ok seeing "certain types of scenes" ITS OVERDONE (in Black souls 1 that is) yes, I did say in "Black souls 1" but if you can get past Black souls 1, then you're in for a TREAT in "Black souls 2" Turn on Carnal acts if you like, because it's now shoved in your face (and turning them on leads to a pretty great scare with Alice in the secret route) "Black souls 2" improves on "Black souls 1" in so many ways, it's such an improvement that I would consider skiping the first game and just watching a summery video of it just to get the second game! "Black souls 2" Is such an unforgettable experience, I 100% recommend the game, and remember... The first ending is only the tip of the iceberg, this game is much more than meets the eye.

i was hoping an experienced illustrator would have something more insightful to say about what makes the artwork in these games so unique and effective but you kind of spent the entire video skirting around any genuine analysis v__v its not enough to just show pictures of the monsters were here for YOUR perspective

Great perspective, love your sense of humor too! Some people think that the gore and sexual content of Fear and Hunger are excessive/just for shock value, but I feel like they contribute to this overarching, skin-crawling feeling of disgust with bodies- the gore is disgusting, the body horror is disgusting, the sexual content is disgusting, it gives it this "having a body is horrific in itself" feeling that I think is really effective.

I remember this game so well, I don't think I ever beat it. Got to the boss inside the uh club I think? I remember a bunch of pillars and explosives, that's about it. Ended up stopping there but I don't remember the game being terrible, certainly a bit weird and sometimes janky but the stealth sections weren't too bad. Didn't like the boss battles at all.

It wasn't the best, story was a bit meh but I actually liked this game lol, it offered a bit of a challenge especially when you didn't go the route the game wanted you to go. I recently got the ps3 version and do want to give it a try which apparently fixed a few of the bugs that were present in the 360 version
