      12v blanket and a Milwaukee battery, wear like a poncho under a jacket , still checking if I can cut safely middle for head hole without damaging element. Homemade heated leather jacket….priceless

    Ask and you shall receive! Bought a similar heating pad due to injuring my back and was curious what was actually inside. I figured it would be simple heating elements but I didn't expect it to be shielded wire. I'm surprised though, mine's 120V / 55W = 2.18A which seems a bit low for the amount of resistance it should have (ie: heat it puts out). I find even the most basic of technology is quite fascinating. Thank you for sharing the tear-down of one of these heating pads and for answering my recent curiosity. ^_^ *Edit* - I found your video by doing a Google Search and your video was the 8th on the list. However it was by far the most telling and insightful.
