Excellent review! Have you seen a 3rd version of the Fiat 131 Abarth with the Second Story Lorry as part of the Team Transport releases? That Team Transport is Fiat themed: you can probably fit all 3 versions of the Abarth on it! Or you can put these 2 Gulf livery cars on the first Second Story Lorry release which is also Gulf themed with the Gulf livery De Tomaso Pantera !

These cars are a lot more expensive in the U.K. The 87 Cosworth is $20 plus!

I was gifted one of these by a close friend because I own 3 of the real deal Ramchargers and I didn't open the package to closely inspect it like this guy. Nice toy though but why doesn't HotWheels make one instead of those crappy fantasy cars I have seen around. Greenlight looks to be a much better company to me.

I bought it and the hood fell off

The number 4 appears on the Ford GT from Gran Turismo for game cover. They look very similar.

When you shown the back of the box around 2:00, an idea popped into my head: why couldn’t m2 just sell model kits with a whole car unassembled like that ? A lot of defects like misaligned door or headlight could have been fixed with a file before everything get glued and riveted. Frankly, I don’t have much faith on the level craftsmanship of a mass produce factory worker. Quality control can improve but issues wont go away for lots of little parts while working for an assembly line. Here’s my vision of how m2 should sell this kind of idea: +Have the recommended age set to be 17+ or with adult supervisor. The only big con for this set is how much small parts(aka choking hazards) there are. However, m2 as a brand is already leaned toward the collector side so the target audience are mainly grown up teens or adults anyway. +Call this like the “raw”, “assembly line”, or “garage built” edition. Emphasis on the build-it-yourself motif like lego or gundam kits. +Comes in clamshell. +All the body panels are already painted and small parts comes in sealed plastic bags. Everything is unassembled. +Include the lift like standard kit but remove the screw holes. Without those bulges, you can display with cars from other brands more easily. +Now include a 2 sided file stick (one side is 600 grit, other is 1000 grit) along with the usual screwdriver and screws. +For the sake of modularity, replace all rivets with screws. +3 sets of wheels and 2 rear axles panels: skinny front, skinny rear and wide rear. +3 extra long spare axles. +Body, hood, doors, and axle panel are diecast. Grilles, lights, tires and other accessory pieces are plastic or rubber accordingly. +Ideally, the total price is below 15 dollars in the current market. Might be a bit steep for 1 car but the modularity makes everything more easy to customize and repair.

Same here. Just found it. I looked at the base and noted the wrong g year, too. It is a nice casting, though. It is a 1960 model, and I like that. Cars from era are hard to find. Quality is ok but there are small details always there to be improved. But unless another company comes up with one like this, this is it. The gas cap could be behind the license plate. That was a thing back then.

I believe it was called a T Type up until the very last year which was 87, in which at that time the name changed to Turbo T
