Are there supposed to be pre-drilled holes for the controller? I don't see any drilling in this video.

Your diagram for the hinge (box 3) shows it opposite of the video - the 'teeth' are down in one and up in the other. Could the labels be mixed up on this; the #13 & 14? Please help.

Make sure you're not using the biggest screw at 3:11. Otherwise, it will come out of the other side. That's what I did by accident.
