So these are planted in the ground? I just bought some and are still in the pots. I bought them with a purpose to do something like in your video but afraid to plant them in the ground lol ( I’m a beginner) I feel like anything I plant in the ground dies. The soil/ dirt around my house is very hard
Yes these plant are planted in the ground. Bigger plants need more ground area to develop roots to support long vine and many flowers. If soil are too hard or too sandy or too clay, we should recondition the soil. Buy a garden soil or potting mix and mix with existing soil or even straight from the bag. I would dig a hole minimum about foot deep and two foot in diameter to replace the hard soil. I hope this will help. Thank you.

fuji maruさん、ご訪問とコメントありがとうございます。 昨年の春ごろふとした経緯からモナーク蝶の好きなMilkweed(トウワタ）と呼ばれる植物を育ち始めたら沢山のモナーク蝶のvisitorが増えましたがその後visitorからresidentsになってしまいました。今の我が家の庭は毎日モナーク蝶が飛び交ってます。もっと詳しくはまたいつの日かブログ記事にしたいものです。
