How to REBUILD/RESTORE single piston calipers!
มุมมอง 2.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Welcome to the channel! In this video I show you how to rebuild some single piston calipers. From rusty garbage, to new again!
These regulators are trash!! They always leak. I have to replace it every year on my 99 Civic EM1 B16A2. I’m on my 3rd. I just keep returning them to Amazon. I’d go with another brand but that won’t be free like these are for me.
Yep! Don’t blame you! Thinking I’ll switch to something else on my next setup!
Ive got a shitbox 97 with just under 200k miles on it, got it for 1k lmao, its a slug on hills below 3k rpm, im looking into making it a project like this, i would just want to keep, ps, ac, and a quieter exhaust, (like a shitbox sleeper build), cant wait for the next vid man! Also what header is this?
Thanks man! Stay tuned! And I’m honestly not sure on the header, probably something unbranded off eBay!
Will you show your tuning process?
Oh yeah for sure! Not super in depth though, I’m not a professional and there’s a bunch of guys on here that know a lot more than me!
What are you using to tune the b20?
Chipped 0bd1 Ecu using HTS
When reinstalling the lil joint pipe behind oil pump on the block which way does the screen part face ? Up or down ?
I believe it was 12 O’clock UP there was a yellow mark from the factory on the new one and old one. Lined the new one up how the old one came out!
def cant wait for more
Stay tuned! I appreciate you!
So Boom dope video bro! I have a boosted rd-1 as well👊🏽
Niceee! Thanks my man! Excited to get this thing done and have some fun with it!
do you have a link for the s2000 master cylinder adapter? thanks
Bought off a guy in the rd1 CRV Facebook group! Join those or if you’re in the them just search in the top of the group and it will pop up!
What regulator/filter is that and where you get it?
Harbor freight!!
Hello, "G-Built Productions" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channnel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or email?
I’m open to anything haha here’s fine what do you think would help?
@@G-BuiltPerformance 1. Title too long-not SEO friendly, 2. Description too short-not have keywords, 3.tags too short-not high rank volume tags, 4.Not doing checklist 5.backlinks- need to fix
Are you gonna keep the same 3P logo or are you looking at getting something more specific to your rebrand?
Coming soon!
The battery will fit under the table? Didn't know it had room up under it.
Yeah there’s a bit of room and seems to be a common location!
So I absolutely can use the EK mount? I’m waiting on a 1320 mount from a friend and my driver side mount is no good and I need a good mount cause I’m boosted and it’s scary lol
Haha yes you can! But like I said it will sit alittle off but definitely won’t mess with anything mine has been like that since I got it and just now getting around to putting the correct kit on it!
@@G-BuiltPerformance dude thanks now I can go beat on my car again 😂😂
Great video!! can’t wait to see more❤
I can’t wait to see the other videos brother 💯
Thank you!
XTD Clutch 1320 mounts, no more no less. I would’ve done the exact same set up. Great video bro. Can’t wait to see it fixed up 🔥
Cheap but they work, let’s send it! Haha
Lawn mowers gone wild
🤣
Hi there, this is Chloe from AUXITO. We would like to invite you to review our LED bulbs. May I know your email to send the collab details ?Thanks!
hi, what is the part number for the new seals?
Honestly I can’t remember, but I got the kit from oreillys. Rockauto has kits aswell!
@@G-BuiltPerformance i think i found it. CARLSON 15317 @1:59 of this video
@@kartman707 thank you I honestly forgot haha but that kit was from rockauto! Not oreillys so thank you!
Thank you so so much
You’re welcome!!
Nice one bro 👍
Thank you!
@@G-BuiltPerformance you welcome my brother
Good to see you uploading again. Keep up the content. #Subarulife
Thank you! I started slacking! Haha back to it though! Weekly uploads coming up at the minimum!
Amen brother. Can't wait to see the future videos!
Yessir! Thanks brother! I got you with some consistent uploads coming soon! Haha
Great video son!!!!! keep them coming 👍
Great short! Question, where did you get the parts?
I got the kit from eBay!
@@G-BuiltPerformance You the man brother! I saw your kit, but I couldn't find one for mine. I run a VQ engine, VQ37 to be exact in a G37. Idk why those Denso's were so hard to find parts for 😅 but Injector rehab had some good bits. More pricier than your setup but worth it for $40ish, given what the actual injectors themselves cost. Hoping to do the rebuild this weekend, girl crossed over 200k not long ago and never had this done, so should be interesting! Like your content btw!! 😁
What color was the orifice gold ? Mine came with 3. Black silver gold. i dont know which one to use
I believe mine was gold and it only came with one!
What repair kit did you use because I need to do this to my tl soon
I used a kit from oreillys! Got the bleeders and such separately from RockAuto, I will say I’d recommend just getting a kit from RockAuto being mindful that you get the correct kit
@@G-BuiltPerformancewhat’s the part number you purchased from oreilys?
Where can i find that joint pipe?
From your local Acura dealer or a website that sells OEM parts, I got mine and most of my other OEM ACURA parts from Acurapartswarehouse.com
@@G-BuiltPerformance thanks i just found it
If your going that far, just replace the damn injectors. I got Hitachi injectors made in Japan from rock auto. 30$ each. Come on guys lol
Not a bad option either but I did this for like $20 altogether so pretty good price difference. Also, I always prefer OEM injectors over anything aftermarket, no sense in replacing them if there isn’t anything wrong with them!
That's $180 vs $15
Waste your own money smoothbrain
You will probably need 3 erasers toget the stickers off 21:49
I seen the obd1 jumper harness 19:17
Spark plug cap 15:30
It lives 14:50
The fuel rail and its pushing the injectors on the map 14:32
What year car and do you have obd1 jumper harness 14:16
I have acouple! I believe they’re all OBD2A to OBD1 though so that’d be 96-98!
All day bro 👍
Man the content is evolving! Editing is awesome! Enjoy the comedy here and there in it, plus the content it’s self! Keep it up man!! Look forward to hearing what was truly wrong with the H!
Thanks man I really appreciate it! I’ll get better as time comes, definitely stay tuned though got some cool stuff that I’m just about to start on!
Seeing the before and after was depressing lmao
Right? Haha SO GLAD you’re taking care of the rx7 instead of doing stuff like this 😂
Great video bro hate to see the coupe like this its heartbreaking😢
Thanks dude! Yeah she’s a goner now 😢
That looks like a fire hazard 🎉🤣🤣
Hahaha everything about that car is a hazard!
He definitely punished her 9:55
That he did 😅
Great video broski! It's crazy to see her like this but l'm glad I got to enjoy it and that the parts landed back in some good hands! Can't wait to see the tear down video and all the other great content coming soon!
Thanks dude I appreciate you!
@@G-BuiltPerformance yessir 🤙🏼
A literal cracked out civic!!
Haha that it was!!
You’re not showing us how to do it, you’re showing us how you do it. Pin orientation in the connector housing is important-not shown. Crimping tool, or soldering on the pin itself? Nope, not shown. Details matter!
They matter for sure but they only go one way! Haha. And it’s just showing how to depin and repinning a connector not how to add a terminal or a pin. It’s also a short, but I do appreciate the constructive criticism I’ll get better! ❤️🩹 💪🏼
cant say nun bro he showed us its different for every car but the process is overall the same
Mexico lol
😏😉
I drilled a couple holes in the original and it made a huge difference....
Solid work! you made it look relatively easy but I'm sure it's very time consuming. Have you ever done this work for anyone?
Is time consuming! If I had a sandblaster or something that’d probably make quick work of the prep process! No haven’t did work like this for people only myself at the moment, but that’s the plan!
Great video bro but could you tell me the part number for that old pipe joint the one you said not a lot of people change out
Thanks dude! And got you! Part No: 15150-P8A-A00 Joint Assy., Oil Pipe
Great review !
Thank you!
