They always skate TO the music, which is one thing that makes their performances so enjoyable. So many of today’s skaters just have music playing in the background while they tear around the rink, arms flailing, trying to do more quadruple jumps than anyone else, often with awkward and under rotated landings. What T&D do may be more difficult, and they make it look so easy! Thanks for the memories!

They have such a personal and synchronised relationship on the ice. The look they give each other before each dance a little smile then its 'donw to business' and serious. I was trying to learn to ice dance one day, buying my own skates and skating three times a week. Sadly i fell and bashed my head badly destroying my confidence 😟 But I have Jayne and Chris to watch, they were my inspiration anyway!😅 The best the world will ever see!!

A very fast routine but these two are amazing, simply AMAZING.

In the days before skaters had conditioning coaches Jayne demonstrates tremendous core strength. Unlike the Eastern Europeans they didn’t have anyone to help them with their fitness they just did what they thought would help them. I think Toller is overlooking the fact that this programme was designed for an audience and not judges. Oh just when he’s finished saying how inappropriate the prop was they brought it back at the end to complete the programme.

This is the least well known or shown of their free programmes but I love it. Before the themes came in from different musicals and the musical interpretation that went with those themes, this is pure ballroom dancing on ice, deep edges, unison and skating in such close proximity to each other.

I wish it would never end. Love these two. They are made for each other, why did they have to separate.

I love them to bits, but some of their performances I just do not get. What matters most is that they continue with their innovation. Scoring for this pair has become irrelevant. They have raised their sport into an art form. I don't expect to follow everywhere they go with it, but it seems the commentator cannot let go of his notions of a dog and pony show. They are not skating by the book. They are writing their own pages.
