The current upperclassman can rightfully say they laid the bricks of a new culture under Coach Rob’s leadership. This ended an 8-9 game losing streak to PV. I would imagine those previous two significant losses resulted in needing a second wind for motivation. Hoping Coach Rob can take State to the next level after his extension.

So, how is going to suspend those refs who made no attempt to get control of that game? I honestly feel like they felt they had to suspend some JSU players or the optics would be bad. I've watched a few videos of the fight, and I was at the game. I don't think 7 players was warranted. I honestly don't understand what the refs were doing most of the game. I do agree that it's a bad look. I think it's a bad look when PWIs do it too.

Also, Alabama state has suspended three players longer than just 1 game . That's a plus . I am going to disagree with you in reference to both teams It's called self defense there were Alabama players that That made it worse after the game I'm not defending Anyone, but it was self-defense on Jackson state. No, it should not have happened, but alabama state has a reputation for doing things like this, just stating facts .

Black people have to stop buying into the double standards. There’s been plenty of football fights at PWIs, but they don’t make a huge issue out of it like we do. No, we don’t want to witness players fighting, but it’s a football issue and not an HBCU issue.

We had NO motive to fight! Our players were trying to collect their championship trophy 🏆 and celebrate, like make it make sense. The math ain’t mathing! Like we WON???

We had too much to lose to start a fight or participate in one! However, Bstate had nothing to lose, their season was over. They were bitter and malicious in starting that fight because they knew that some of our players would be suspended regardless of who started it. Your players have a history of being undisciplined and disrespectful towards others, not just JSU. No one on Earth is going to allow someone to aggressively get in their personal space screaming, calling them out their names, swinging, and spitting on them without defending themselves, no one! This attack was calculated and had malicious intent. They accomplished the goal. I remember when we last came when prime was there, they taunted #2, called prime a b*** a** ninja and verbally attacked one of the water girl on the sideline, calling her a stupid b****! You all have created a toxic environment for us. Y’all won last year, at our homecoming, celebrated in the middle of our field with flags without incident! Do better! Leadership is terrible! This altercation was not on both teams, this was all about Bstate be a sore loser.

I didn’t realize Keye was a baseball player. That makes me more confident in his throwing abilities. He is fulfilling his assignment in favorable scenarios (Valley and A&M), my only concern is his response to more responsibility in unfavorable scenarios (against tougher defenses). I like his decision making skills. We have a helluva 5 game slate to close this season but I’m believing. #SwarmAs1 PS: Feels good to beat A&M more than 2 consecutive years. It’s beginning to feel like the 90s (when we won 6 straight and went 8-2 in the MCC that decade). 🐝🐝🐝
