Saving a Lost 3D Print - Manually
มุมมอง 1982 ปีที่แล้ว
After a power outage caused my 3D print to fail, I wanted to pick up the print where it had left off rather than starting all over. Since I control my Ender 3 with bash scripts running on Arch Linux, the process involved searching log files and creating a custom gcode script to resume the lost print.
Programming a CNC Router with Linux
มุมมอง 2.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
3D printers and CNC routers using GRBL or Marlin firmware can be controlled by sending G Code from a Linux machine using simple bash scripts and fifo pipes. In this video, I am taking what I learned from programming my 3D printer and applying it to the CNC router for creating PCBs. Source code is available on GitHub: github.com/ericomeehan
Pipes and Named Pipes in C
มุมมอง 4.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
A succinct tutorial on creating data pipelines in C. Pipes are used to send data between processes on a machine, typically making the output of one program the input of another. Using pipes, we can allow our programs to work together to create a more integrated ecosystem. Source Code: github.com/ericomeehan/sketchbook/tree/c_pipes Join Our Discord: discord.gg/PTWecyAbDU
Structure Attributes in C
มุมมอง 3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Often in embedded or memory sensitive situations, we need to control the precise layout of data structures in memory. By default, the compiler is going to define structs with padding to suit that CPU's word size; however, in such sensitive environments such padding can cause problems. It may be necessary to use attributes to force structs to be created using contiguous memory - a packed struct....

Great
Definitely useful 👍👍
I think this would be pretty complete if it had mentioned __all__
Rodriguez Gary Hall Mary Rodriguez Michelle
One of the best explanations I've heard on the subject. Thanks!
very helpful thanks!

what if i have 2 directories and i want to import class from from dir1 into my file which is in dir2 Both dir in same path.
they say if you know it you can explain it, but here he explains it well it shows how good educator he is thanks
please how do I implement this in windows, I'm getting errors
Thank you so much for this video! However, I was wondering if we could simply use "from resources import *" to avoid specifying which object we're trying to import? Thanks for your help!
I’ve known how to use init, but your thumbnail helped me with my another problem. Thanks 🫶
OH MY GOD it's so simple yet noone has ever explained it like this!!!
Finally some detailed simple explanations 🫡 Thank you sir !
Hello There loved your videos now a day no one is making videos on c and in college also no one is interested in c/cpp most of them are behind js , python , web dev etc .... feeling like got alike minded family.... And thanks for server video on C it gave me a guide how to make it from scratch so Now I have a direction :) ~Indian Viewer
horrible video
Thanks, no confusing words used. Clearly explained!
1:48
the socket function returns a -1 if it gives an error
Concise, clear and very informative. Thank you ❤
Good... Is this supports HTTPS ?
so i can import everything into one module and then just import that into my other modules? holy shi**
Is it possible to build this using only the standard C++ library?
Well-presented and well-spoken, thank you
very good video. thank you
nice video
Is not it 'number.hexadecimal = malloc(size * 16 + 1);' since we have 16 chars + null?
5:20 You can use: _backlog = backlog; or this->backlog = backlog;
12:07 you could've change private attributes in the base class (SimpleSocket) to the protected and they would become available from the derived class (BindingSocket).
you could used fscanf() or strtoi() or just wrote it binarily to the file to store the number. fscanf you can read a txt based number in and store it as an int, float... strtoi converts string to int.
randomly came across and whatever this is, this helped me understand soo much init and the concept of library, in such a short and engaging video. thank you so much.
I can't seem to find the homo deus repository on github...
Still on data structure on C, After that I am going straight into this. Thanks
Wtf, my man’s here using Xcode in light mode? Real devs use dark mode. Light attracts bugs.
Any thoughts on GeekFactory Shell Library , ajaykrishna97 gen_cli , erkia cli , matt001k openembeddedcli , brycekellogg TinyCLI , walidamriou EmbeddedCLI? Kevin Townsend (microbuilder eu) , Funbiscuit embedded-cli , breadboardos microshell?
you are hitting that keyboard a way too softly....
is this properly open source the github does not seem to mention a license
Thank you, Sir 🙏 EOMWS = Eric O Meehan Web Server 😁😉
why didn't you use __all__
u are too good in bringing out concepts😎.keep on the good work brother
If the __init__.py is empty in this case, the script fails. Why so ? Has class something to do with it ?
Extremely helpful and very well explained.
I am three years behind you. Starting a worker-owned software company. I found this video very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you 😊
