This game had so much potential, and what we got was loads of fun when it wasn't being frustrating as hell. The only reason I will never 100% it is those stupid gold brick races in the Sonic world. I just can't do those without falling off or something.

I loved this game as a kid even if it was a dream to 100% it, one thing that, on my quest to 100% all of it, I found particularly annoying were some bugs. I can't name many specific ones but I can remember it being kind of janky whether thats because I was playing on a modded wii u a the time, but one thing i can distinctly remember was the gyrosphere vehicle being broken. Something is wrong with the spawning of it and it just stays at like what i can only assume is the map's 0,0. I Dont know why it happens but it seems to be save local. Anyway I have a lot of stories with this game, I hope we could see a sequel (that is not toys to life) in the future (it will never happen)

Lego indiana Jones 2 for me was so great on wii as a little. I now as an adult just dont like that its too much scripted, and orher points.

I agree with the needing to buy characters for worlds being an issue. Their intent was good: you only need to get the characters for the worlds you are interested in. But the reality is that completionists get frustrated. As far as needing specific abilities, they patched that, didn't they? You could temporarily buy characters with needed abilities for studs.

It would be so cool if they released a complete version. Or even digital with each character pack as DLC. I really wanted to play the Doctor Who level pack for Dimensions, but never got the chance.

Also that isn't the first Lego cross over games in fact it used to be a major selling of almost all Lego games as you get to see al;l the newest lego themes in a video game. And it's still a major draw to go back and play the older Lego game titles as they have themes and Lego elements you can't buy new any more and unlikely to return in brick form... Till TT games Lego games took off and dropped that concept for most of their Lego games... Now it's very rare but still a massive selling point so I don't know why it was abandoned at all... Like even Lego Drive lacks that smash bros feel when it of any new lego game should have it... But I guess we have Lego Fortnight if we want the Lego smash bros expernice in a new game... But yeah that is the first time a Lego game crossed over with lisnced IPs that didn't have lego sets I mean many of them do now thanks to Lego ideas but still...

I mean that is true with the cavate of Lego games that you can play currently... As lego universe is by far the best lego game you can't finish and the best MMO and the Best ultimate Lego game as in it's the whole elego expernce not one part of it or the Lego lienced minifig expernice TT games are... Which that is only true for right now as so far nonone has revived it yet despite the fan revival of beloved games only becoming more common by the day and MMO have had that tremnt like Star wars galxey... So the only reason why Lego universe hasn't been revived yet is likely do to Lego's ever present ban hammer that they do tend to like use when they canh get away with it and it threatens them to much.... Pretty much the vary type of project a revived Lego universe would be... Which revived games need the copywrite holder to etheir not care or even support it with out wanting to make it a comercal game which tends to happen when a copywrite holder supports a revived game project though both is posssibkle like EA pubslishing a wholly fan remaste of the first two command and conquer games...

I can proudly say that I finished the game when it was only season 1. I got a 100% on every level and world and collected all golden bricks and unlocked the disco lights extra. Was it expensive? Yes. Did I regret spending so much money on it? No, because I enjoyed every minute I put into the game. Later I also bought some characters from season 2, but that is when I dropped it because it just became too much work to complete all these worlds. They should have left the game with only season 1 because many of these characters where connected with the main story, while the new ones from season 2 felt odd, like they didn't belong in the game

Idk why they couldn't combine this game and Lego Worlds. Lego Dimensions, Lego Worlds, Lego Universe, all need to combine and make the best Lego game ever.

13:46 The center pad was designed to hold only one figure because that is the one pad that is Read/Write, for updating the data on the vehicle RFID tags. The left and right pads are Read-only, and therefore use less expensive hardware. Allowing multiple figures on the Read/Write pad at once would lead to confusion as to which tag was to be written to.

i always wanted it playing it as kid now i got the option trying my game i wanted as child using an emulator (rpc3 ) i liked the concecpt running around in any world from any francise

Why? Why did you start like that? It's just creepy. I steamed LEGO Dimensions twice on my channel. I owned many of the added ones. It's one of my favorite games ever. I am nearly 60, and I loved everything about this game. The fact that you don't, yet you're making a video about why this is the best game puzzles me. I don't know about anyone else, but I've heard enough. I won't be finishing watching.

there indeed was an online. it was kinda fun but quite unbalanced with characters like superman and wonderwoman. it was pay to win. i love lego dimensions tho it brought me so much joy and introduced me into so many movies of which back to the future is one which is the reason i wanted to follow a carreer in movie making. i guess you could say this game made me who i am.

Cemu recently added integrated toypad support to the emulator, so you can dump your wii u game (or not), and play all of it there. Working on a 100% file currently and it is really fun. It's a shame that this game ended before its Season 2 even ended. The Flash from the CW show was supposed to be playable (presumably with his own dimension), and Lord Vortech was supposed to be the last playable character
