Everytime I listen to this I can’t get over on how accurate your timing is I’m a drummer and guitarist but I’m struggling on some transitions and beat matching
This was realllly goood!! Can I ask how you matched the bpm and key for the go back vs Beam track for the intro? Ive been trying to recreate it but i cant seem to align the grids while making it sound right 😅
Thanks! It can be tricky to get the grid alignment right on acapellas sometimes. Usually I'll just pull up the actual song and find a part where the vocal is on the first beat in a bar and use that to line it up. For this mashup the key is increased 1 semitone so it matches Beam.

I had this controller originally but I didn’t even open it, I returned it for an XDJ-XZ mainly for the ability to record onto thumb drive and not need a laptop. It’s still so pretty tho, and the stems built in is great! ❤
Hi, can I ask you how I can publish those kind of mixes on YT without occur in copyright infringement?
It just depends what songs you use. Before I make a video I usually upload a private video of just the MP3 of the mix to see if any of the tracks get striked. If they do then I take those songs out. Most EDM songs are fine though. When you start uploading popular pop/rap songs is usually when it gets taken down.

You can find some decent ones on TH-cam. I usually make them on vocalremover.org

@@tabletopdj317 no offence, as a vinyl DJ i feel DJ's today play the controller but not actual music. i blame the Dj industry for products that force the DJ to become basically on the fly sound editors. theres a line between a DJ and Turntablist. But Good luck in your progress my friend 🙏

I almost always use the linked parts instant doubles feature (up/down) with vocal tracks. Having the vocal on a separate mixer channel gives alot of flexibility.

Me personally observing helps a lot. But an explanation for some of the cue points and why he set them where he set them would be helpful as well. But gotta take what you can get lol. Either way, very insightful
