i was unaware that the recording stops when entering the ps menue so ill detail on ps5 how to reset the mission here:- press the ps button go to the network tab ( it looks like this <---->) then network settings then settings then turn the internet connection off then on return to the game and you will be back on the ship.

I did it in honour mode with a GWM maul barbarian standing on the forge pedastal to keep Grym in the lava, wizard concentrates on hasting the barbarian, then the other two just throw potions then entire time. 20 potions and brute force = ez win Using the hammer is really hard on honour mode cause the dude can just fucking dash across the entire map. Really annoying.

i didn't know there was another way to kill grym in my first run, and only realised you could use the environment once i read the achievment description. it is possible for a poorly equipped, badly arranged party to beat grym without abusing throw, but it's easily the hardest fight in act 1

Im surprised they didn't have the monster spawn like with the cows exploit. Anyway, if you do every sidequest in white orchard, not only will you be lvl 4 before meeting Yen, you probably have an armor with better stats than that bluestripes set. Dont waste gold on gear, you'll get better gear from loot and diagrams. The horse gear is a better investment, and you can still get the free horse gear soon after with equal or greater stats (enhanced saddle in Vizima, and racing saddle from winning one out of 3 races near Crows Perch)

Coo. I'll use this. This game was always beautiful but even more so now. But I'm all about finding hard leather armour. I'm sure the puffy thick and colourful fabric sets are realistic forms of ancient light armour but they look like pyjamas to me. So I think my challenge will be to only wear armour that I think looks cool even if it's inferior. Unless there's transmog in the game?

actually the other 3 pigs u can farm too. The gaurds dont go after you. when you go to attack the pigs the guy runs off.

dont bother selling in white orchard its a waste of time, just gain as much leather and meat as possible and stash it. then when you decide to go to valen you can sell to shops that have more than 80 per. i had like 10k plus of the leather and meat that took fuck all time to do. got rich fast when i got to valen.

And now CDPR has to create a pig monster like they did with the cows :D

Just a quick quality of life improvement, hold L1 and press Square to meditate, instead of having to go in to the menu. 😊

Works best on pc also with the BetterTraders Mod. It allows all merchants to carry minimum 9000 gold

also since the pork has been nerfted HARD, i suggest just to sell them. back in 1.3.2 pork regen health by 80 outside and inside combat which is insanely a lot, especially when paired with the general skill called "gourmet" which makes consumeables lasts for 30 minutes (now 20 minutes), now it only regen for 15 health.

another thing to add is to sell all kind of hides and consumeables to the bar owner only for maximum profit cause they pay u more, for example in white orchard sell hides and consumeables to the bar lady (do not sell to the merchant that sells temerian).

there are 2 pig's cages behind and up from the white orchard's bar. each cages contains 3 pigs, clear and loot both cages, meditate for 1 hour, rinse and repeat. i just did, i do it until my pork reach 98 and pig hide 100, sell all, profit 1k+, easy money. do it twice, i buy all important stuffs in white orchard like temerian armor relic set, roach's temerian set as well as all gwent cards and still have 500 gold left. easy money. this also works back in 1.3.2 which i also did back then.

If you kill the cows three times a Chort will spawn. If you kill it and leave the area it will respawn.

if you meditate beside the pier instead, aswell as the respawned pigs some of the ones you already killed revive giving more resources.

This is a wast of time, the white orchard merchants do not pay well for anything and pig hides arent worth much even at the highest paying merchants. If you want to farm hides wait until you arrive in Vellen (you dnt need much gold in white orchard honestly, just enough to buy gwent cards from innkeep) look up the Martin Feuille Farmstead signpost then walk east for about 10 seconds and you'll see a fence with some sheep. Ignore the sheep and head over to the cow pen just over the northern fence. Igni the cows as fast as possible then meditate (dnt matter how long) cows will reapawn and all drops from previous cows will stay so you burn all the cows, meditate, burn cows, meditate ect. After you've killed a few hundred cows start picking up all the drops that have been piling up (this method is much faster than picking them up as you go) sell the cow hides in novigrad (start @ heirarch square) for the biggest and fastest payout. This method can easily make you 10k in under an hour plus you will have all the raw meat/milk you could ever want for healing, I usually equip a 100 stack of raw meat and sell milk (I use gourmet ad a starting skill) you will never need to worry about having enough food to keep geralt healthy because it can be a serious challenge early on for new players.
