How much weight did you gain in the process?
I can’t remember exactly how much weighed in this video / when I started recovery but I’d say I prob gained 10 pounds before I got my period back? Now 4 years later I’m completely eating disorder free and went through a very healthy pregnancy to my son! Recovery is so worth it 🤍
@@mollyleland1274 congrats!! I havent gotten my period for 5 months now. I have just started my recovery. though eating is so mentally challenging I m slowly eating more everyday. Really hope I ll get my period back soon.
@@tenzin8580 you’ll get there, just never give up on it! I promise once you’re on the other side of the eating disorder you won’t even recognize the person you once were! so worth it & you got this!
April 26th You are so brave and courageous. Love it❤❤❤❤❤
Wonder what happened to her....?
For me, 2-3 miles every other day, however the key difference to previous fitness days is that I’ll eat smaller portions to avoid bloating and my body feeling exhausted after a meal. Also no alcohol or sugar.
Thank u , you're a beautiful girl! ❤
Walking is very helpful to control the bloating. It keeps you feeling healthy too.
Hi Molly. I was looking for someone who has done both courses. I'll sign up for both maybe tomorrow. I was thinking of finishing CNC first. What's your take on that? Since you've already completed it, I'd like to know if it was worth it. Any suggestions on how to begin with these courses? Thanks

Just watching this video to get some motivation to get back into recovery as I eat. Thankyou for sharing this, hope you're doing well! 💕
Hi, Molly. How are u? Your channel is so special, and you too. I am a anorexic brasilian in recovery and i'm 17 your channel helped me a lot, hope it continues ❤️:)
omggg that is literally my favorite coffee ever!!
Thank you for this video! I'm struggling so much with my exercise addiction and ED and there are no free therapists here, so I'm pretty much left alone in this journey. Seeing the comments with ppl saying they are happier after recovery helps so much too, I really hope I'll get better soon, keep going you're doing amazing 💕
This is so much better, medium bob great on you.

New sub. Hi :) I am watching a bunch of all in recovery videos 🤝❤️
Hey when you got yours back did you start spotting first or was it a full blown period? Mine has been missing for a year but after eating like I should I have gotten period symptoms recently and I started spotting so I'm curious Thank you!
Also me,???
thanks for sharing... the part on what your therapist said was so helpful! pls share more about intuitive eating and your journey :)
thank you for watching!! I’m so glad it was helpful!
Just found your channel, love it!! Keep it up sis 🤩🥳
Thank you!!!
Tkank you so much for this video ❤🍀
thank you so much for watching it!!!
I wish i was younger ....getting older makes losing weight more harder
sending good vibes 💖
I know where u shop 👀*whole foods* lol
I haven’t walked in a long time. I was 170 pounds since I last walked/Labor Day 2020. Last week, I walked 47 miles 😃. I’m now 165.6 pounds. My job helps Me average 2 miles per day. I usually add another 4 miles after work. Yesterday I walked 7.8 miles. I love it. Definitely have to buy a treadmill for cold months… or continue walking outside. I hope You’ve been well!
But now I feel guilty and don’t want to eat tommore
hey, it's going to be okay you need food to fuel your body because food is fuel your body is beautiful even if you don't think so
I got diagnosed with anorixia nervosa and I am proud about what I ate today I had half a slice of low. Carb avocado toast a small cookie and a small cookie and 1 plain crumpet
im so proud of u!!! keep going!
I know this isn't meant harmful, but commenting what you ate (which is also a small amount, maybe good coming where you came from, but not in general enough) on someone's recovery video can be really triggering and cause comparison xx
So eating the same thing always for a meal is very ED driven! You should film a week of new breakfasts to challenge yourself!
i would love to film that!!!!
Seriously! such a weird thing with EDs I can't shake this habit ;/
yes it can be a bad habit but if it does make her full and she eats intuitively until she’s full then she is doing great. there is a balance in everything. also food obsessions in ed recovery is so normal
I know some people on the spectrum or picky eaters (non ED) related reasons who eat the same thing for meals. Genuine question; how do you know if it’s ED or non-ED related? I would think each individual would know themselves well enough. I am no doctor here 🤣 but for me I have foods I love & prefer over others and hold no ED thought with it. As someone in Ed recovery I think for me the hardest part isn’t even about the food (but if I recall most ED’s aren’t about the food) 💀, mines more body image & my weight…
@@Reree-gz5bg i'm guessing it's the intention or more like the reason behind it? not really a hard and fast thing + it's not mutually exclusive though i think as in if you avoided foods because you saw them as too unhealthy/too calorie dense/it'd make you feel guilty vs. if you avoided foods because you were put off by the smell/taste/look/sound/other sensory related reasons also eating the same foods because you can't find more foods that are low calorie/wouldn't make you feel guilty vs. eating the same foods because structure and sameness is comforting
Thank you for this video<3 it inspires me to do the same! I hope you're doing well!
aw i’m so glad!!!
What kind of foods did u eat to get ur period back? Breakfast, lunch, dinner? Thankyou ❤️
hi! I recently posted a what I eat In a day of recovery video showing all of my meals throughout the day!

Hey, thanks for making this video. I got my period back this month and feel so good. Honestly starving myself was not worth it, I am so much happier and healthier now
im so happy for you!!
how long did it take
I am eating almost 3500+ calories everyday over 4 months but i still can't able to get my period back. What should I do?? 😨😭😭
are you communicating with your doctor?? I think that’s so important. it honestly is so different for everyone, everyone’s body is so different. don’t get discouraged and keep going 🤍🤍
Thanks❤
@@farhanayasmin8911got it back?
I wish I could intuitively eat but I completely lost my hunger and fullness cues from anorexia and they never came back altho ive been weight restored and eating normally/enough for a year. I hope the cues will come back I feel hopeless :/ ive been working on recovering my period for a year, but it never came back. but my hormone levels are a lot better so I was told I can get it back at any time and I can now maintain my weight and not gain anymore. I hope the doctor is correct but I am worried. I have a feeling that I am going to be one of those people that take years for the period to come back or it may never come back at all :( it is just so difficult to know if I am eating enough when I have no cues so that is why I track my calories to make sure I eat 2200-2300 and not go below that
please don’t feel hopeless!! everybody is so different and for some it can take a super long time. but please do not give up on your recovery & keep talking to your doctor. you got this ❤️❤️ i’m here for you!!
@@mollyleland1274 thank you! turns out my period came back a few days ago. it is very light, not sure if that’s normal
what other types of eating disorder + hypothalamic amenorrhea videos would you like to see?! ❤️ comment below!!
so informative! thank you <3
thank you for watching!!❤️
Wow, you are amazing! I’m so proud of you girl❤️ I’m currently struggling with the same thing. Was gaining weight as noticeable/scary as you thought it would be?
thank you so much!! not nearly as scary as I imagined. I try my best everyday to look at my weight gain as the most positive thing I could ever do for myself, and I think that takes away from the scary factor of it. all about mindset change ❤️❤️
you got this ❤️
I haven't gotten my period for 3-4 months and I'm really scared... I know I need to eat more and exercise less but just thinking of it scares me af... I think to myself "what if I gain weight and it shows?"
it is a very scary thing. I think the most important thing you can tell yourself is that those thoughts you have do NOT have control of you. you have the power, you just need to know that ❤️
same here. i got it back tho by eating more nourishing my body takes time, process and consistency. I ofc gained on my stomach/back area first but surprisingly it evens out after!
@@professor1123 that's what i am scared about... but i know that these thoughts about gaining weight = bad aren't true... it is so hard
@@fqfq6139 it's all in our head. I struggled a lot at first. What really helped me was whenever I have a food I labeled as "bad" I always pair it with "good" Food. And enjoy it try not to over think distract urself. Again it takes time and process.
@@professor1123 for how long? And how much did you exercise?
Currently in HA recovery- about 2.5 months in, just walking and yoga when I feel like it. It was really hard letting go of training, and dealing with the uncomfortable feeling surrounding the weight I have put on. However, as difficult as this is, the pros outweigh the cons- I would never give up the memories I've been able to now make because of my freedom surrounding food. Thank you for sharing your story <3 glad to hear you got your period back!
that’s so amazing i’m so happy you are finding freedom! I feel the same way. it’s so difficult but being healthy AND happy is so much more important. keep going ❤️
Great video, I found similar things during my HA recovery x
I know this is an old video but had to say this has happened to me several times. Most recently I couldn't smile and I couldn't even close my left eye at all.. crazy! I had a head cold and must have caused this
omg! that’s so crazy! it’s a scary feeling
