The Equine Connection - Documentary Trailer
The film explores the role horses play in allowing humans to better understand themselves through troubling times.
Isaac is a veteran who served in Afghanistan at a young age and was troubled by his past as he returned to civilian life finding that the things he experienced while serving broke apart his moral structure and thus suffered from PTSD. He explains how he navigated his way through the aftermath of his experience and found peace and purpose with horsemanship and now teaches the methodology he learned to other veterans and children experiencing personal issues.
Andy and Christina attend a showjumping event and find their placing was not as great as they expected, operating a small equestrian in Cashmere they explain how they work with people and horses to promote self confidence and courage.
Heather utilises horses within her psychotherapy sessions and explains how horses tie into her practice and the benefit they have for people suffering from past traumas.
The Equine Connection is currently doing festival rounds and will be released in the near future.

I can understand using 25 fps for far away shots but any kind of up close action should be 30 to 60 fps especially with a high powered drone like the I3. It would eliminate the lagging and motion blur. These shots are super nice though and all the luts used look pretty good
I would be shooting 50/100 fps in anything fast paced. We’re in Australia also so 25fps is our norm. Everything on this video is just first use test flights with no filters, shutter is cranked hard. Purely to see different focal lengths etc. nothing in a professional capacity.
