Something absolutely magical about that smooth transition at 1:15, the refocus of the beat and the melody. Very jazz like movement
Is that a MIDI harpsichord? Never thought one would sound like some South/Central American guitar, or even better, a harpsichord that sounds good at all in any way. Incredible
THE ABSOLUTE GOAT, BANGER AFTER BANGER, HOW DOES HE DO IT
OOOOOO YOU KNOW IM HERE FOR THIS ONE BOOOOOIIIIIII
Yes! So excited to hear more of these tracks of yours!
Thanks a lot, @ThePhobosAmphitheater!!
Love the sound
Great sound
Sonzera
Que demais essa vibe!!!
Oh yeah, late 90s near-sci-fi techno baybeeee
thanks a lot!
Yes beautiful. Very nice. The wait for the wad is only slightly terrorizing me
Oooooo thats the STUFF right there. Opening pads, swelling sustain leads a la gilmour, complimentary organ and a very hazy 90s night time sci-fi vibe
Woah, thanks a lot for the kind words, especially for the gilmour reference! :D Glad you enjoyed it!
@@tomasoares I picked up the Gilmour influences all the way back to exomoon, which this is super reminiscent of. He is also my favorite musician. This track captures the de facto elements of your unique sound and style and man I can't get enough of it. Musically speaking it's straight up some of the best stuff I've ever heard, just outright ever, not just speaking for game music (for your style in general, not specifically this track. My heart belongs to command center and atrium). It feels so original, fresh, nobody else has this. It's goddamn inspiring, brother. If you lived around here I'd offer to do a collab musical project, seriously. Keep up the awesome work dude, cannot wait to get my hands on the wad
@@ultimatum1895 thanks a lot man! That's so awesome to know! Yeah, Pink Floyd is also my favourite band as well :D
Saw your update on DW - so stoked to hear these tunes in-game! I love those dissonant guitar chords that slowly fade in every so often in this one. That's just one of so many cool things that give your MIDIs their own style
Woah, thanks a lot for the comment and the kind words! I guess this thing with the guitars is a bit of influence of space/psychodelic rock bands that I like and use such effects on guitars (Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Ozric Tentacles, etc), although I only knew this could be done with some of the BTSX MIDI's
A map to surpass Command Center (if this is your map)? She thicc. Before I opened it I thought it was gonna be a 28 minute long music track and that you were competing with Jimmy over making a 45 minute long track for a single level lol
Aah not my map for this, just a playthrough for a friend's map :P One day I'll write a > 20 minute long midi haha
@@tomasoares hell yeah brother
Iraaaaado ❤
altas viagem!!
altos som hein!!! altos solo de guita hauhau
Valeeu! Só na guitarra de teclado! kkkkk
Feeeeeeera!! ❤❤❤
É teu mapa? É ótimo! 😮
Gostei da trilha sonora
FUCK YES also G O D that transition on the music at :45
Thanks a lot!! :D
Yeaaaaah thats the stuff right there
Id have liked to hear that clean lead bit through the middle of the song to turn into an OD tone. Would have sounded killer with that and some hat open and close playing
NICE fuckin sweet drums and percussion here. Track sounds like something you'd hear in Ion Fury. Good stuff as always!
You have a very unique sound and style with the piano and string combos you have. Its like a spin on jazz and 80s movie soundtracks.
Thanks a lot @ultimatum1895! 😃
Muito bom!!! Adorei o clima da canção
that bass is fuckin THICC. like the acoustic arps a lot too especially at the end track almost reminds me of a sort of Aphex Twin kind of sound.
Thanks! I'm very proud of that synth bass as well :D Gotta learn to have more control of these synthetizers
@@tomasoares unfortunately you need a badass midi controller for that stuff. Those are expensive but they do let you do A TOOOONNN with synths like pitch and bend controls, tremolo toggles and kill switches, shit like that
You just on a musical roll or should I be excited for another wad?
Just music for other people's wads. I want to work on something on my own but release will be like 2025 lol
@@tomasoares shit bro why so long?
@@ultimatum1895 lack of time unfortunately :(
@@tomasoares damn that's unfortunate. At least you got stuff happening all the same, wish I could say the same lol. The cover I made of your track is the only musical thing I've been able to do for about a year now. Just cannot create anything. Are you thinking of making like legit songs or more wad music?
@@ultimatum1895 I'd love to try to make some more standalone music, tbh. Gotta be more confident for that, though! haha
Very nice Is this still on the Roland 55 font? What program do you use for that?
Thanks a lot! It's mostly the native instruments komplete suit (I think the standard version). Some really good instruments, although I miss some better ones for guitars, tbh
@@tomasoares if only that wasn't so ungodly expensive...
@@ultimatum1895 Oh yeah, i have like the second most cheap tier and bought both tiers in different sales, they are indeed very expensive >.<
Fantastic track. Beautiful outro. I think its different enough that it could serve almost as a sequel track, like a bigger reprise of the original, it isnt quite as moody and mellow as the original, so I think it could serve for another huge ass level like the original Central Command if you ever did a follow up to it. I haven't seen anything in Ozonia yet that may fit the "central command part 2" thing but I've only just made it to #
Goddamn that transition into the main riff and the additional arpeggio synth and strings during it FUUUUUUUCK
I felt Map30 was too easy, your opinion? Should be hardest map in the wad IMO. Anyways GG! Nice RL callback on 32 haha
Thanks! About map 30 hmm... it was fine for me, as I don't have much experience in dealing with large crowds, but if you compare with scythe map 30 then it's probably on easy side. A2Rob could make things more difficulty for the player on it and I wouldn't complain though!
Joga o disco todo, por favor!!!
jaja no cantes anda
Thanks for playing my map, glad you enjoyed it. Don't know if you noticed, but your videos have sound problems in later parts.
Didn't get bfg until map29?
I was pistol starting each map :D
Olá! Você conseguiria publicar as demais faixas dos dois CDs do Fortkamp? Ambos contêm em si uma epopéia de produção!
Would you be interested in seeing videos of Ozonia with live commentary & feedback? I really liked Exomoon :)
That would be awesome! :D
@@tomasoares Here's Map01 then! :D It would be cool if you could comment with your thoughts on each video as you watch then, helps make me look forward to them more. Or if desired you could either just keep replying here or email me (I'll give you my address if you request it - but then take it down afterward so hopefully no more than a few people on YT see it). These first 4 bring back pre-corona memories...
Looks cool!
Can't wait to do a playthrough of this myself! :)
Yeah, the hell section definitely needs some changes in difficulty.
antares031 since it's map 29, I'm not sure if it's that needed, although one more sphere would have helped me a lot haha pretty good and very remarkable level, anyway. Much better than its father (Misri Halek) :D
Thank you very much for playing the every level in this version! And yes, I'll make sure to remove two more arch-viles. ^_^;;
This level used to have more arch-viles. I'm glad that I cut them down a little bit. 23:21 There were six shortcut teleporters, if you didn't notice them.
Oh shit! My mistake haha I think most of battle here are balanced. I'm not very good at dealing with arch-villes, I usually get desperate and try to take them down fast hahaha In one of the battles I decided not to do that and I was able to resolve the setpiece in the first or second try
Just a reminder that MAP28 suffers heavy framerate issue with zdoom, so make sure to run it with GZDoom (OpenGL), or PrBoom+
I better put some megaspheres, instead of soulspheres, in the dome.
It would be interesting also to add some rockets so the player can blast a bit more with the super-rocket launcher haha (awesome weapon, btw) But on other hand that would shorten the battle's length
I can add some rockets, too. But not too much; probably around 15~20 more rockets will do the trick.
Like in 8:07, the midi instrument FX 8 (sci-fi) sounds weired in ZDoom, compare to the original midi. I wonder if I have to replace it to a different one. Thanks for the playthrough, as always. :)
No surprise to me haha My tracks usually sound also awful in ZDoom due to the weird way it handles the vibrato >.<
A quick note: MAP24 has a possible major giltch that breaks the game in GZDoom, which you can't trigger the tag 666, after you defeat the miniboss arena. This doesn't occur in PrBoom+ sourceports, and this isuue will be fixed in the next version.
Just in case, but those turrets in the final area are indestructible
Oh yeah, took a while for me to realize that haha
