Tom Turkey Float | Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 100th Anniversary (2024)
The 2024 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be the 100th anniversary of the first parade, which was held on November 27, 1924. The parade will take place on Thursday, November 28, 2024
While the parade tradition itself began 100 years ago in 1924, the parade is not celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, as it did not take place in 1942, 1943 and 1944 due to World War II, according to Macy's.

My favorite movie ever❤
I've watched this millions of times and only just realized the actress that played Her Majesty queen of France is none other that the same one that is Sister Monica Joan in Call the midwife
Such a classic movie
A Great Ending, Classic
This is my Cinderella always will be
i HAVE ALWAYS LOVED 1940s/50s interiors of early American
He's so cute aaaa X3
Why bother? You didn't show the whole scene.
Perfect For Thanksgiving. So Happy Thanksgiving.
Ms. Huston does a quite convincing British accent.
I loved this movie
I’m very glad this scene is back online! I’ve always really liked the way Louise Brooks slaps some sense into Bing, who’s deep in self-pity. “‘Cause a slicker stole your gal - and you ain’t got fight enough to get her back!”
sooooo satisfying one of the most satifying moments in all of cinematic history
I like Tom 🦃
Happy Thanksgiving!! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!!
Only 5 comments on a scene from the Crosby-Astaire holiday classic? I'm old.
@@patrickvalentine8700 but we’re all here together! … In color
My favorite scene of the movie
❤😅
2:33 he knows shit is about to hit the fan.
This is such a cool video! Thank you for uploading this, it was a great watch!
RIP Timothy West, the King in this.
Never saw the color version before and I’ve seen this dozens of times!
@@EdDantes-v8c funny, I was just researching which classic films have been colorized. So many of them were in the 80s and 90s! I had no idea. I only knew about the few that had happened in the beginning of the 2000s.
@ when you’re used to B+W color is jarring.
0:53 Me after getting caught eating bread.....
According to a version of the original tale there was one of the step sisters who was actually kind hearted and treated Cinderella with some degree of respect.
French people are so English 😅 but I loved this movie
Nice entrance Danielle?
That backwards speech scene always made me think of The Beatles and the PID thing
The last clips of Bert Lahr are in a Frito-Lay Chips TV Ads in 1966 and 1967. Judy Garland's last TV show interviews were on the Tonight Show in 1968.
I feel for Bing Crosby mocking the record while staring at the plate, feeling isolated from his true love. Other than that, this is a timeless Thanksgiving song. Thank you for sharing this clip! I've got plenty to be thankful for, too.
P.S. I agree with your description, because we need to learn about Holiday Inn, rather than be harmed about it.
Man, you and me both feel isolated.
The look Rodmilla gave Danielle right their at the end was priceless. Because she knew something bad was coming.
The Grimm Brothers were not half as nice to the step mother.
It's here on TH-cam for free right now. Already watched it a few times.
Anjelica Huston really is a phenomenal actress. Even as she was bowing to her stepdaughter in fear, she still has that look of disdain on her face. She's totally at the mercy of the one she tormented most, yet still looks at her like she's a rock in her shoe.
Where can i find the entire movie?
oh how cool is this they already used "Drag Queens" as actors and part of the audience. love it. 1:57
My dad always taught me, silently forgive and walk away,…. And people will usually receive“the same courtesy bestowed on me” in time.
I mean.. how can ANYONE deliver that speech without a tiny.. and I do mean a TINY bit of revenge... it just seems to.. fit.
Most of the roles that Angelica Houston portrays are more villainous.
The revenge is sweet❤😁.
So well cast!!!
Мартиша?
Stinkeroo.
Excelente muchas gracias,saludos desde Chile.-
Jacquline knew the whole time! One of the good scenes! “Of course not mother! I’m only here for the food!”
The three got more than they deserved.
actually 2, Jacqueline was on Danielle's side so she wasn't punished
RIP Timothy West. Great actor.
She was so horrible to Danielle when she said how can you love a pebble in your shoe. But both of them got exactly what they deserved.
My favorite Drew Barrymore movie of all time!!!!! My favorite part of this movie!!!
Morticia Adams
I love how Jacqueline bows instantly with everyone else, while her sister and mother look around in astonishment.
