I wouldn’t have believed it, but I’m seeing it! Please do follow up and tell us how your VW runs once all is set up to take it on the road. One thing I noticed - correct me if wrong - but on the original dash you have an oil temperature gauge? For a VW oil is THE key metric so can I suggest that the Sniper temp sensor uses that? As the guy on the previous video said, air temperature won’t work under real-life driving. Yes please, details of the Sniper kit you used. Finally - you’ve mounted the Sniper with the twin barrels aligned top/bottom; can it be aligned turned 90o? That would solve the throttle cable issue. Looking forward to comments and of course follow up video. Happy New Year!
Sounds great. Could you provide links to the kit you purchased? Thanks!
Will do
@@Jeeps_by_Richter Awesome. Thanks! Happy New Year.

Hey Brother; I watched this to see how that FI system worked on a A/C VW... May I offer a couple of thoughts to consider? First off, on the factory FI'ed VWs, they had a temp sensor that was screwed into the head. A sensor that is sensing the air will get wildly different signals depending on RPM due to fan speed. In the long-run, you will foul plugs, and in the short-run, not run as well as it could. Secondly, I have Yet to have met a VW mechanic that liked the screw together pushrod tubes. The engine expands and contracts with each heat cycle, giving you inconsistent sealing at either hot or cold. While they certainly leave a lot to be desired, a factory style setup will leak less, but won't Ever be maintenance free. Just my .02... And so that I'm not just some random voice on the 'net, I sold VW A/C bits for 3 years exclusively, VW parts exclusively for 8, and have had more than 30 VWs over the years myself, although not all of those were A/C... Good Luck with your build!
GREAT WORK J.R.💥💪 AUSTRALIA!!🤍💙❤️🫡
Thx
Thanks for posting this, I'll take all the references I can get for when I inevitably tackle replacing the core/evap/blower/resistor, might as well get em all while I'm in there!
Hello, "Jeeps by Richter" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or email?

I had that same small air filter on my 4.2l. it was choking it out quite a bit. I put the 9" K&N 2 5/8" flange air cleaner kit. It made a world of difference. Especially on interstate climbing hills.
Would make a great candidate for some fluid film coating.
Great video! looking to do a sniper to mine with the same engine.
